  1. Did you pay for 2 years? Everything I saw was $100 for hybrid and $200 for plug-in/electric.

I miss flat fee car registrations. Would LOVE to pay only $400 for 2 years.

Mine was $413 for ONE year in AZ for ONE car smh.

  2. I've had the Note 8, 9 and 10+ now.

I'd say the 10+ or the Note 20 are going to be your best bet if you're already use to Samsung UI.

The only reason I skipped the Note 20 is because the 10+ is still a really good phone and I'll probably jump on the Fold band wagon with the Fold 4.

I've 100% switched over the bluetooth and don't regret it. You can get some REALLY good wireless ear buds in the $20-50 range.

  3. Im not here to soap box, just share stories of things many people arent aware of in regards to how a handful bad cases of Covid affects more than just those people who choose to just think of it as a flu bug. Getting a vax'd not only drastically improves your chances of staying out of the hospital and or dying, but it might just keep medical care available to you or someone else that needs it regardless whether its covid related or not.

This is one of my main reasonings for getting the vaccine. More vaccinated people = less needlessly occupying hospital beds from people who actually need them.

I actually got covid and had ZERO symptoms.

But I wasn't selfish enough to not get the vaccine because if my body could fight off a virus killing people worldwide I'm sure the vaccination would be just fine to boost an already strong immune system even more.

... and shout out to wearing masks for making my allergies less severe for over a year!

But... my sense of smell has increased and you people stink please take showers everyday and wash every part of your body lol

  4. 100% accurate.

Meanwhile people are spending more money fixing what they have, and I’m having one of my best years working on cars, which is further exaggerated by the complete lack of technicians in the field.

Man! the place I get my oil changes is a full service shop and you have to make appointments a week in advance for a simple oil change now. It's insane.

  5. Vroom offered me 24k for my 18 Impala with 60k miles. It's very tempting because I only owe 10k on it. Had my eye on the CT5-V (Non blackwing) to replace it, potentially.

If these prices are still crazy by spring and the offer is still there I just might pull the trigger.

  6. How many of you or know someone that: Yelled at a cop, snatched/ripped up a ticket a cop gave you, Cussed at a cop and/or called them all kinds of names, ran away from cops and still lived scratch/bullet hole-free to tell about it?

Now, imagine if a black person did ANY of that what do you think the outcome would be?

  7. Was on my mobular device earlier and didn't want to mess with quoting a bunch of things at once on it. Not that I'm on my PC I have a question for this part. A genuine question. No sarcasm, no agenda, just seeking understanding (although I'm sure greg will try to project something anyway).

If you lived in a state where that was illegal and they had inspections annually or whatever they do (I've only ever lived in Ohio) what would be the consequences? I genuinely don't know. If it involves you not being able to drive said vehicle until it's corrected this is a piss poor analogy to use in attempt to solidify your point.

You just can't get your registration renewed until you got it fixed. That's all.

  8. For comparison sake the CTS-VSport and XTS-V has the same engine as the ATS-V and I never really hear anything bad about them.

VSport can be had for some pretty cheap prices now.

If money was no issue I'd swap the XTS-V's whole drivetrain into my Impala since I prefer the body style and they are basically the same car.

  9. Down in Florida (Ft Lauderdale) ourselves working but enjoying the benefits of weather. Dogs are much more calm because they aren't cooped up 24/7 like they would be at home....the little one runs and jumps in the pool as soon as you let her out of the house though which is getting old. Can't help but shop for properties while we're here even if Florida isn't my favorite place in the world. As I age I totally get the snow bird thing.

I'd take FL over PHX though...I spent every other week in Phoenix from March 2019 to March 2020 for work and I enjoyed the time there but I'm allergic to the world and there was a different set of allergens that drove me crazy out there. I found everything being brown also wore on me after awhile. Small complaints I know but adaptions none the less.

Ultimately if we were to really be serious about relocation it'd probably be Charlotte.

I was the opposite my allergies completely went away when I moved here. But the moment I step off the plane in Columbus I can feel the sneeze attacks creeping up. Especially if it's winter.
