  1. anyone got any work done there??

was down there a couple of days ago.. there shop is where pierceology used to be..checked out some of there work, met some of the artist. and on may 4th ill be finishing up my right arm. it will be a full sleeve. kind of interesting too. continuing the asian theme, and i will have 2 artist doing my arm basically collaborating on the entire sleeve. scott and steve will be doing the work.

i have a normal guy i go to but he is booked up. i like what i saw down there, but would like opinions from someone who got inked there.

my wife will also be getting another tattoo as well

Do you not like the artist that started your sleeve? I personally wouldn't want different artists working on the same piece.

I'd also check out Anthony at Stained Skin, and Jeff at American Proverb.

  2. if you want to be adventrous then go down to lancaster and break into mudhouse mansion, thats free unless you get caught , thats a scary ass house.

I hear that place is pretty heavily guarded nowadays. :(

  4. I was into it huge, a couple years back. Raced almost every weekend, had a good size collection of vehicles.

Here's some pics of some of the ones I've had over the past few years (only have 2-3 left).

....I'll post more in a little bit, of some of my other stuff (including electric cars/trucks).

  5. It was the 88GT,

Radically different suspesion ( no longer chevette left overs).

As a result most things about the rear of the car especially are different.

IE: the shock towers are actually different widths and things that might easily squeeze by on a 84-87 might give you more of a headache on the 88.

It sucks that when they finally got the car right (or started to) in 88, they canned it. :(

  6. Good stuff there. The hit didn't look that bad.

May not have looked that bad...but it was bad enough to break his neck/spine. Very well could have killed him....I'd say that's pretty bad.

It's great to hear he's moving though. Yesterday, it didn't sound like he'd ever walk again.

  7. I have never compared the two....I think the point is you can get unlimited text, data and all that for a mere $60 a month with Tmobile verses 100 a month with ATT and that does not include unlimited text. Only loss is visual VM, which is an ATT exclusive feature.

Ummm....I've got 2 lines on AT&T, one of which is an iPhone, w/ 1500 text msg limit a month. And my bill isn't even $100.

  8. I remember like it was yesterday.

I was working for WinBook, doing Tech Support. Was just like any other day. Someone came in and said a plane hit the World Trade Center. At first....everyone was thinking it was an accident. But as the story developed....it looked like something else. Since we were on the phones, they let us take turns going into the break room to watch. When I went in there, and was watching....was when the second plane hit. It was a crazy feeling...almost like complete loss of feeling. I went completely numb, like "what the hell is going on."

I had to get back on the phones, but every phone call I took...even though I was trying to fix people's computer problems...all we could really talk about was what was going on. Needless to say...the call volume that day was very low.

    I can't believe it's been 6 years.

  9.

    OMG...the sound!!!

I want to start off by saying that this is by far the fastest car I have ever had a chance to ride in. There aren't too many words to describe what a TT Murcie feels and sounds like. The best description I had heard today is that it sounds like a jet.

Doug Levin Passed by my hotel to take me out for a spin. Besides his wife I was the first person to ride in the passenger seat, and it was truly an honor. As nice of a guy as it gets, and a true car enthusiast. Very down to earth and humble.

    Driveability:

The car has the manneurisms and driveability of a regular Murcielago. The car is driven with the stock clutch for the time being, and if you are a careful and cogniscent driver, the stock clutch should hold for a LONG time (ie no slippage, and no clutch smell at stops.) Exhaust sounds like a regular aftermarket exhaust until you hit boost then it screams like a redheaded stepchild. We were holding conversations while on the highway, and people typically buy a Lamborghini for the noise anyways. A/C worked perfectly, no gargle of backfire while downshifting or letting off of the throttle.

    Power:

Very smooth and linear power delivery. Boost kicks in early (around 2.5k-3k rpms), after that the front end lifts, the wastegates open and the redline comes up faster than one could possibly imagine. Lag is basically non existant. The Murci is a quick revving car as it is. The car makes 800hp at the motor. It feels like more than that if you can imagine it. I have been in a Murcie Roadster under hard aceleration, and this feels 2 times as fast under boost. The car will spin all 4 wheels all through 1st, and I would imagine part of second gear. The blowoff valve noise under hard accelleration is louder than any Supra I have heard. Especially in a open topped Roadster. I have to imagine that when he was on it, it must have been an almost scary situation to be next to the car. If you the type of person that doesn't like attention, do not put a tt on your lambo. It is an indescribable sound that this car makes that gave me goosebumps. Nothing I have heard compares to it. Including being next to a Tubi'ed Enzo at over 100mph. It is absolutely incredible. The A/F at idle was 14.7 which is ideal as it gets.

    Looks:

Doug is known for being a perfectionist, and this kit really looks amazing. It is still being R&D'ed, but everything is where it should be. The lifteable air ducts on the side provide air to the air to water intercooler that keeps the kit cool. Everything is either coated with heat resistant material, or thermal wrapped. The kit sits far back in the engine as seen from the pictures I posted earlier. Everyone around this car seemed as if they were forced to look at this car. Caused quite a hooplah at the lobby entrance of the hotel. I can go on and on about looks, but its a Lambo of course it is gorgeous.
