  1. Asking $20, is cable ready and remote ready (I lost the thing years ago), has only a single coax input. Good for an "off to college" or game console for kids, but don't try watching the Buckeyes on it.

  3. If anybody has one of these and wants a free blade/foil set, let me know and I'll mail it to you. Mine just had some sort of internal piece break, and I got a new assembly hoping that was all that would be needed. No such luck, so I've got a never been used set looking for a new home.
  4. And I'm sure momentum plays a huge role in that as well... Sure it takes a lot of energy to get started, but once you're moving, it's just gonna keep on rolling.
  5. Price of lead is roughly 4.5x historical averages.
  6. The trick is to keep the area you're working on well lubricated (a clean bucket of wash water is good for this), to turn over/work the clay frequently (no more than a square foot at a time, really), and to let the clay do the work. All you're doing is gliding it over the paint, with very little downward pressure. If something is there, the clay will get it.
  7. The real fun is when you save both sorts of green at the same time. I may own a hybrid, and I may use CFL lights all over my apartment, but when I'm spending a third as much on gas compared to everyone else, and a quarter as much on electricity, well, penny saved equals penny earned, and pennies are the coins mostly likely to multiply like rabbits in your pocket
  8. Bummer... here I was, thinking it was actually, like, something cool.
  9. Hmm... after crashing my bike off a ramp in 7th grade, then spending the winter of 9th plowing the wrestling mat, this might explain my susceptibility to sinus infections and bloody noses.
  10. lol.... wasn't that a reaction to all the ball players using chaw during games, right when the tobacco/mouth cancer link was first confirmed?
  11. Do you ever really need any more reason than this?
  12. Anybody using these things? If so, do they live up to the hype, or is it just snake oil? http://www.pulstarplug.com
  13. Does it count as getting Rick Roll'd if you see the comment below, then click the link anyways to see the carnage?
  14. Yup... drivers FTL.... Went and de-installed everything this evening (somehow the blasted thing loaded both 32bit and 64bit drivers, then loaded the 32's), and between that cleansing and installing SP1, then installing only the 64's, the thing works properly now. Lesson learned? People can't write drivers for shit.
  15. I tend to think it's more a problem with the Logitech drivers... the camera didn't work with XP64 either, but everything else in the system (video, sound, TV tuner, scanner, 2x printers, etc) works fine in both versions, with or without PAE enabled. Only the cam has a problem.
  16. Microcenter OEM rack is your friend. What you sometimes gain from NewEgg in price, you often lose in shipping/gottahaveitnow.
  17. MSN had some nice tweaks on this morning... http://tech.msn.com/howto/articlepcw.aspx?cp-documentid=6719419&icid=tg6719419&GT1=40000 Now if only Logitech could write drivers that *worked*, I could turn PAE on and use all 4GB in my system. As it is, I'm stuck at 2.9G if I want the camera to work Edit: Forgot to add, there's a couple more nice tweak guides here: http://www.ocmodshop.com/guides.aspx?ac=r&c=2
  18. Umm.. yeah, Andy's only been doing this for how many years now?

    Autozone

The same kind of retards that Best Buy, Circuit City, and (when they were open) CompUSA have taken to hiring... the ones who spout letters and numbers, but have shit for concept on what they all mean. Then when you tell 'em that their "hot seller" is a card that was discontinued two years ago, they're like "No way, we've got them right over here!!" and spend the next fifteen minutes trying to figure out where they went.
  20. Sorry guys, Supplicium called all three, I just haven't had a chance to ask for a modlock yet (busy day at work )
  21. Yeah, they're fairly decent. I just don't have any need for more computers around my place. I'm told the drives have been scrubbed (so don't get your hopes of finding a massive porn collection up), so you'll need an old windows or some unix to get them going again.
  22. Three older computers that I'd just as soon get out of my hair. They may or may not be functional at this point, I just don't feel like fscking with them. All will need a keyboard and mouse, I've got power cables if you need them, and all three have ethernet cards for dsl/cable. System 1: P3-450, 256M RAM, 40G drive, CDRW, ZIP drive System 2: P3-550, 384M RAM (8M shared), 12G drive, CD-ROM System 3: Celery3-700, 128M RAM (8M shared), 10G drive, CD-ROM I'll hang on to them for maybe two weeks, at which point they're going to a recycle drop-off.
