The oil pump went out of the civic and there's some metal shavings in the oil. I need a mechine shop that does very good work and can have the motor done in a reasonal amount of time.

Dumb answer but did you check fluid,change fluid. Is there any check engine light on? Try to replace the shift solenoids on the front side of the trans?. Also the lucas trans stop slip works great.
