    L67 recall was for valve cover gasket leaking oil under hard braking and could pool up on the exhaust manifolds and cause fire. In this case seems very plausible what happened. Glad everyone is ok

    Was looking around today and started tossing around the idea of going with a wooden countertop for my house, Anyone here have any experience with them? I know the basic pros and cons like they get cut up etc but you can also sand them down and refinish them. If you do have them where did you go to get them done and or how do you like them?

    I'm with this is say 2k tops, 24 year old Saab parts will be no where to be found. Dealerships ate a big one trying to just unload any Saab they had

    Like it didn't come out it broke off in the motor? They are known for that. They make a few different tools to get them out.

    Did you get the old plug out and know for sure the threads in the block are bad? Heli cool is probably the best fix unless you get someone really good to clean up the threads and get all the metal shavings out

    I would assume it's the v6 so that's 2 head gaskets so probably cheaper for a whole motor swap

    Ya but now they are worth nothing only thing that sucks about tickets

    I concur but problem is it's still a 13 year old car with almost 150k and really color combo doesn't go to far unless the car itself is also rare sadly, great car none the less.
