  1. I also agree. I believe theyr'e just going to tear it down to the studs and go from there to see if it should be leveled or keep the studs and such and put new drywall up. I should know here by Wednesday or so.

I'd rather just have the first floor of the house leveled and start over and possibly make some floor plan changes but I'm not at that point yet.

If they level it you have all the options the budget allows for changes

Would hate to see a post down the road about a bunch of issues that slowly show themselves

  2. ^ this.

    Dito

And after seeing the damage pics I would not want them to “fix” it

I would be pushing very hard on my Insurnace company to start fresh after that smoke and water and electrical damage it’s going to be like trying to repair a burned down then flooded car without taking it back down to a bare frame

  3. Doesn't crank or click like you would expect a dead battery. I'm leaning more and more towards the starter that I installed not even 10 months ago which is really fucking annoying.

My tacoma is bare bones so I don't believe there is any security feature having to do with the key or starting the truck. The only security feature on the truck is the manual door locks.

when it does start after the 20 minutes does it crank slow?

  4. So it has a sport appearance package with a larger wheel and tire combo

Meh same old same old , then they will brag how the Roush version will have some kick ass new fender flares with MT special tires and cost 15k more. Oh can’t forget about the added performance of a cold air intake and cat back exhaust

  5. R107s are climbing in value, but prices are all over the place. A branded title certainly won’t help increase the value of any car, especially a Mercedes. The 380sl is definately the bastard child of the 107 chassis. With that being said if it’s a rust free running car in good condition that runs well, $4000 would be a good starting point. Condition and pedigree is where the value is.

This is the ballpark on what I was feeling but kind of roughly pulled that value from the back of thin air

I don’t think I am going to make this deal happen as poor bastard has dumped way more money into it than that even though he never drives it

    Appreciate the bit of insight

  6. Old co-worker of mine has a 1983 MB 380sl is pretty darn good shape.

Needs some minor things but here is the kicker on why I Have a blank here

It has a sticking odo that has made the title Branded since 2009

What does the CR consensus say that it would be worth?? I don’t deal with Mb at all but I know these are collectible even with a branded title
