So your floor vents and everything change as they should your just not getting the cold air to the driver side in any position? The door is the blend door and actuator also not called the mixer motor just FYI There could be more than one but with the air on and cold move the doors by hand if you can as you say and if your issue is fixed then it has to be either the door sticking or the gear on the inside of the actuator is stripped so it try's to spin but doesn't actually turn the door

Just because the actuator moves does not mean the flap inside the box is not broken

Fixed is a easy 3-3500 for someone if I did t have 5 cars already I would snag this up for sure

Chances are with that seat that the rails are pretty low profile as it is and the cushion of the seat makes it sit a little high. You can take the seat out of the car and see if there is a way to have someone fabricate a new rail with string but smaller wall tubing. That is only a small possibility however

Tesla also does not have a good outlet for a used market resell. They ship them to companies who have a contract to buy their used trades and they get shipped to auction usually or on occasion go to the CL market. I am lucky to have the avenue of auction and contacs so when the time comes I search hard for one I will be able to locate one without a ton of effort

We won't know for a bit how bad it affects the S line model but it is crazy to think that they are 100k new and in 5 years there value normally depending on miles drops to the 40-50 mark Yes I understand new car values and that is will fall but I'm just shocked that being what it is they don't retain value a little better. With that I think I have fully decided that even if I got a used 60 at the cost of a new 3 the S is still a much better option
