im currently going for my a&p at cscc. my understanding is the "apprentice" thing is only a repair station certificate. in laymans terms if you leave that shop it does not follow you where as your a&p cert. is yours and goes with you. call down to the bolton feild branch and talk to jeff gruber. he is very informativ. Also, getting a job is not hard but you're not going to be in columbus if you want a job.

I went against my better judgement and got one. I am getting 2-2.5 miles more to the gallon without changing my driving habbits. hell i actually drove it pretty hard and got that. plus the past couple of days haulin around a trailer my mpg's just went down to what it was before I got the filter. The way I see it is it will pay for itself within a month or two.

that was the main reason I was thinking about it but I figured if there were no other gains then I would probably pass.

im not asking about power gains to be funny. I know if there was any gain it would be very minimal, Im just wondering more or less if there are any real bennefits to getting one for a stock replacement or if it's just a waste of money.

Been throwing around the idea of picking a K&N air filter up. Idk what the "recharge" kits cost or anything but seems like it would be relatively cheap in the long run if you dont have to replace it ever. Are there any real gains as far as power and better mileage?

WTB: Used tires for the mach 1 so I can move it around. The current tires wont hold air so I just need some that hold air so I can move it around. I wont be driving on these. Also, if derek or anyone else who works somewhere they can put these on the wheels, can you give me a price or qoute to have that done. I need 205/75-14 or around that.

isnt there some kind of minimum post count for the FS sections?
