  1. Heres my problem. Im in columbus, living in an apartment without a garage while my project car, which needs some work is in Cleveland. I was wondering if anyone knows of a garage or place I can rent out for a couple months so I can get my car going. Ive thought about storage bins but Im not sure if they allow that or if its even physically possible to work out of one. Anyone have any suggestions? Ive checked the classifieds and craigslist but no luck.
  2. Heres the buick on Brian's (DynoTune) dyno a couple years ago. It put down 230whp/330wtq before exhaust work: http://b5.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01116/59/93/1116013995_l.jpg This pic is about 4 years old. Im lined up against my buddies gtp at dragway 42: http://b1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01115/18/00/1115980081_l.jpg In the staging lanes at Thompson: http://b2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01115/20/64/1115974602_l.jpg Built the engine for boost: http://b5.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01115/59/35/1115935395_l.jpg Heres the engine with the turbo and manifold being fitted: http://b7.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01134/76/61/1134651667_l.jpg
  3. Hey all, my name is Joe. Im a student at OSU and I work part-time as a mechanic and work weekends at the local autozone. Ive been in columbus a little over a year now. I currently have 3 cars; an 02 Buick Regal GS, and two Ford ZX2's (a turbo'd s/r and a stock daily driver). I just demodded the buick a couple months ago getting it ready to sell. It was a fun car that ran a best of 13.2 with boltons; headers, rockers, intercooler, exhaust, and a supercharger pulley. My turbo'd zx2 is my project car. I had it running last year until it spun a rod bearing during the fall. Now I need to tear down the block and rebuild it. The car is currently in cleveland and Im in columbus so not much is getting done. Im a big fan of the track, Norwalk was like a home to me until I moved down here. I hope I can get my car going so I can have a little track time this summer. See you guys around, Joe
  4. I had some piston rings go on me and it ruined my pistons and scored the cylinder walls. The rest of the block is fine. Im looking for a place that can bore and hone the cylinders to match my new pistons. Cost is a major concern for me but not at the sake of quality. Anyone have any recommendations?
