you cant put a front mount a roots style blower, its a heat exchanger and you shouldnt get heat soak since its liquid cooled. Unless this set up is diff then everyother roots style blower i have seen.

i said should because i wasnt to sure i figured it could go to maybe 23-25psi but i wouldnt try it.

i have been to mexico....wasnt fun. I got sick, as did 2 other people i was with and we stayed at a resort in cabo san lucas. we never ventured out and drank bottled water. My thoughts on this? Ship them all back build the wall, place mine feilds on mexicos side.

FYI..... Most fi cars from the factory have forged rods and low compression pistons. They ususally are not the greatest. Most will handle 250-500whp while some will handle 500-900whp (cobras, supras, skylines and so forth). The intercooler/ heat exchanger as the intercooler is inside the blower/intake manifold housing on this car should be good to 250whp ( correct me if im wrong).

The m90 should handle 20psi just fine. Above 20psi you will probably overspin the blower. You might want to think about porting it so you can run a lower psi with the same hp. Sweet build, good luck with the project.

ya the one with the terminator drivetrain was bad. I dont have the money to drop that in it. The rs8 is even sweeter with the 5.0 cammer motor. but that is 15,000 just for the engine. Should i go carb as it wil be easier?

um i had the money for that build i sold the parts and bought a dirtbike.... any more stupid assumptions? I have been tossing this around for a while, even while buying parts for the turbo build. hal..i am getting the f150 next fall... i will probably start tearing the focus apart and selling everything buy the cradle and rear end conversion part. Then start on the engine and rear end. the transmission, fuel system and everything else will follow after that. i know it wont be as easy as selling the car getting a fox or older camaro and building it. Thanks for the input guys. Now what stroker kit? 331,347?? would you recomend a t-56 i like the idea of a 6 speed.

my point exaclty lol... There has been a handful of these built from 289s, 4.6, 302 and 351 mostly strokers. I have yet to see one break. ZX351 is blown up right now due to its dumb original owner who used to high of a shot of nitrous. That video is on motor and just the conversion susp. which is coilovers and also street tires. No 4 link which i will have. I think it hooks pretty good for being 500+ lbs lighter than the mustang and shorter wheel base.

I have tossed around the thought of getting a fox or a duster. I just like the idea of a v8 focus. I will also have an f150 next year. This will also be a 2 year project.
