  1. I swear there was a thread on this exact thing about a year ago, I did find the one where Cordell a brainstorming thread about opening a shop. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110583&highlight=lift+rent I think the biggest issues would be insurance because of the potential risk of have some one using tools, possibly power tools and not being trained mechanic. I'm not in insurance but that seems like a big liability. The other issue you would definitely run into is have a car up on a lift, half apart and something breaks/new parts don't fit etc. and the car can't be finished before close or possibly until the part arrives days later.
  2. He is the current sitting president, who else's fault would it be?

  5. Auto Trader shows a couple sub $40k
  6. How many casting calls has it seen?
  7. I like the idea but I think it's about $40k off Kinda reminds me of this guy http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RJQ3Kgr_OhM/TgOC6E3dO1I/AAAAAAAADeA/ZkHVM4nOjyg/s1600/miles-eixodaroda-550x309.jpg
  8. Impressive yes, for the car no. The tech advancement achieved with turbos is even more impressive to me.
  9. Yep, not sure where I got it was a twin turbo from. Wishful thinking I guess.
  10. Close but pretty much all sedans resemble another one. I'd DD the Mazda if they brought the wagon it stateside. The more I think about it, the more unimpressed I am with the engine for the GS. 3.6L twin turbo only at 300hp. Acura has 290hp with out the need for a turbo and Infinity has a 3.0 twin turbo at 400hp. Even the 2.3l ecoboost mustang is at 310 hp and 320 tq (350 w/ drag pack)
  11. +1 I'd love to see the cars being driven out sometime and I would if I owned them. People do the same thing with Nikes so...
  12. same way I feel about gays in the military. Good for them and good luck.
  13. for less than $5k it appears to be in pretty good shape. How hard would it be to remove the Ferrari emblems and have a decent fiero?
  14. Wagon Yes! http://gmauthority.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/2017-Opel-Insignia-Sports-Tourer-Wagon-001-720x340.jpg Tour-X No thanks.
  15. The wagon is meh. I was excited until they added the plastic cladding and jacked up the suspension to make it like the golf all-trak. They are calling it a "sportback" and car & driver is calling it a hatch
  16. Is pretty damn sexy. 3.6-liter V-6, producing 310 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque with AWD. Starting just under $40K, No manual of course http://www.caranddriver.com/news/2018-buick-regal-gs-photos-and-info-news http://www.caranddriver.com/photo-gallery/2018-buick-regal-gs-gorgeous-sport-official-photos-and-info-gallery http://media.caranddriver.com/images/media/51/2018-buick-regal-gs-inline2-photo-686147-s-original.jpg
  17. Speedsource's Facebook page disappeared right before the announcement. I do feel bad for them because they have been racing only Mazdas and they didn't get an option to continue in any capacity. Will be interesting to see what they do engine wise. The current 2.0 turbo is over a decade old and pretty much strung completely out. Hopefully something good in that department will happen and trickle down to their road cars because when you think about it, they only have 3 different engines the 2.0, the 2.5 and the 2.5 turbo in the CX-9.
  18. I remember reading about dodge doing like 25 hours straight of pretty hard core laps at Nelson Ledges for the SRT Neons for testing.
  19. The same Team Joest that put Audi on the top step of Le Mans 13 times is taking over the Mazda DPi program in IMSA. https://www.racer.com/imsa/item/142404-mazda-team-joest-to-debut-in-2018 https://www.racer.com/imsa/item/142403-chemistry-key-to-new-joest-mazda-partnership Mazda might actually become a contender next year.
  20. Don't forget conservative values: Pro-Life until the baby is born; then it's fuck you, pull yourself up by your boot straps.
  21. Ha, it wasn't directed at you or anyone really, just my lack of knowledge on the subject. I have insurance through work, that's the only plan I know.
  22. random/serious question because I'm not into the healthcare debate as much as most of you guys posting. For those of you that have proposed a flat tax, why shouldn't that include universal health care as a portion of that flat tax? Everybody pays the same amount, everybody gets healthcare.
  23. https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/6172688736.html I think I would want to paint it but you definitely know what you getting with the body.
  24. :lolguy: You win the interwebz today
