  1. I did the Auto Interests acclamation program last year and loved it. It was about half the cost of just running novice but still got 2 full track sessions, 1 session with pace laps, a car control sessions and lots of instruction. We had the option to go out for one more session with everyone but I was kinda wore out from the day and didn't want my wagon blocking everyone out there.
  2. I'll be at the Autointerest Mid-Ohio track days in May & August. Waiting to see if I can get one more event in.
  3. Here's the front of a '74 http://www.transamworld.com/pontiac-firebird-1974a.jpg Looks way better than the custom one.
  4. that 74 looks terrible. Bumper laws came into effect in 1974, for the 2nd gen f-bodies, they had the smooth bumpers in 78 and look much better that that. it's like a face with out a nose.
  5. I don't like all the plastic cladding or the increased wheel gap for the alltrack. I wouldn't turn one down if I got the same price but wouldn't be my first choice. Maybe because I wanted red it was harder to find a 4 motion with a manual? I know you can find the FWD S out there but they don't have heated seats.
  6. Asking players to pay millions for leaving early LOL. It's called a hardship waiver for a reason. Plus they still make money off their image etc. from when they played. Will the University accepting a transfer have to pay a transfer fee to? Over-singing, if you don't make the cut you're out one way or another. You're injured with something that will affect you for the rest of your life, hope you find a job with good insurance. You're actual choice of study is limited due to practice/team meetings. The universities aren't very committed to these young men. Why should they be? Until the university puts the free education they give first and stay committed to the Student-athlete I have absolutely no issue with anyone leaving early or sitting out a meaningless bowl game so they don't get injured and hurt their draft stock.
  7. I thought you were a little crazy going from the S4 to the Q50 RS but side by side, I like the Infiniti more.
  8. Funny thing is, VW is offering to match the 2018 warranty for a fraction of the savings. And it's not like the 2018 is any different than the 2017 model. About $15 extra a month for an extra 3 years and 36k miles of coverage directly form VW seemed like a good deal to me.
  9. CBS sports had him listed as declared https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings?:sort_col=5&:sort_dir=1
  10. It was assembled in Mexico just like many American cars are so... Plus hangover from diesel gate, 2017 model, Americans need for all things big and inefficient (SUV's) probably all lead to a nice discount for a wagon.
  11. Sam Hubbard is leaving too. Dre'Mont Jones is a senior I think Price is the biggest loss
  12. Thanks everyone I test drove a couple GTI's and an alltrack. Was impressed with the paddle shifting and since it's a daily it will be nice to just have it in drive. Nice!
  13. Picked up my new car tonight. My Mazda wagon decided to eject another spark plug so I decided it was time to move on. I wanted another wagon with heated seats so I got a '17 Golf S Sportwagen 4 Motion. Couldn't find one with 3 pedals so DSG it is. Not a bad thing for a daily and I still have the Miata in the garage. It has more torque and high MPG's than the Mazda had. I got over $6k off sticker after adding in the extended warranty VW is offering to match the warranty for the'18 models. I'm happy with the deal I got. Plan on tinting the windows before summer.
  14. Only made it to the theater once so The Big Sick was the best & worst movie I saw last year.

    Net Neutrality

Seems like were gonna find out soon with education
  16. I loved my Mazdaspeed Protégé. 2800 lbs with great low end torque and a great handling chassis. The weak point was definitely the engine though. 6.5 psi factory and would still go zoom-zoom-boom.
  17. Can't believe nobody said the greatest Christmas movie of the 80's...Gremlins. And before you say it's not a Christmas movie, remember that Gizmo was a Christmas present.
  18. +1 for the Top. G. Michaels's, The Barn and Hubbard Grill are always good too.
  19. lol, I like how there is a video of rockets exploding in the middle of the story
  20. Miata parts. Specifically brake parts but depends what else might be on sale. The only other thing on my list is a Amazon Fire Stick.
  21. WRX/STI engine swap candidate https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/d/2002-subaru-forester-5-speed/6395159305.html
