I expect a good game but I don't expect them to win.

+1 If you're ready to move on to something else, it's worth a look

I'll be rooting for the gophers but I don't think it's cold enough. For any conference to get 2 in, there has be be an undefeated and a 1 loss team. I really think it would have to be a team that didn't get a chance to play the undefeated team in the regular season or conference championship game. Big Ten example, Wisconsin loses to Bama then runs the table and gets blownout again by OSU. Meanwhile, Iowa's only loss was to Wisky close in Camp Randell. Then 2 Conferences have to do really bad and have 2 or more loss champions that just don't look good. I think it's a long shot for one conference, even the SEC to get 2 in. Other scenario would be undefeated #1 vs undeafeted #2 in a conference championship game that was close with a 2 or more loss conference champions from 2 non SEC conferences or 2 Big 12 one loss 1 true champions + 2 loss non SEC conference champion OR Possible 2-3 loss SEC champion and 1 loss SEC championship game loser. Because SECSPN overatings.

Hi Bruce Hooley! Predictions for Playoff: 1. Ohio State 2. Arizona State 3. The Rambling Wreck of Geogia Tech 4. SEC Champ will have 2 losses. Let's go with Mizzou. Big 12 left out again with 3 true champions this year. (TCU, Baylor & Oklahoma) Add Clemson to your permenant troll list. +1 on Georgia, Oklahoma, TCU & USC

I know my ideas are not perfect and I haven't done much research on the gun control so I don't know the possibility or plausibility of them. I do say "might" or "may" a lot because I just don't know, but I'm willing to give it a shot. But it's my .02 cents and I threw it out here knowing it wouldn't be welcomed with open arms on a generally Republican Gun loving forum. But I honestly have not seen any other ideas thrown out for prevention of the situation. I do appreciate and respect your counterpoints as it has got me thinking more about the topic. With that being said, This is something that's not 100% preventable either. I don't think there's one single solution and no solution is going to work overnight. The status quo isn't working and that's what I'm most unhappy about. I don't think the answer is more guns. Banning all guns is not answer either. But there's got to be a middle somewhere that can reduce the number of mass shootings. Single or even double murders will still happen but the numbers may go down some. Only one way to really find out. As far as underage kids, do you want them to have easy access to smoking and drinking? Parents can and have been held accountable for that. and the role playing, crazy people are going to be crazy, No way around it. People will murder, but the body count probably won't be as high. Don't know the old saying but it's probably the name of gun given the conversation. I don't think you should be required to take a gun safety course just because you're 18. You're not forced to take driver's ed when your 16. Talk about taking away freedom of choice. Even though there's a lot of high school graduates that could use the discipline and wake up call from being forced to be in the military, (a lot of that would be cause the parents failed them) I would give up the Right to Bear Arms before I would force that on them. Remember when 1 guy had a shoe bomb and now we all have to take our shoes off at the airport? Not every "solution" is convenient. You can argue some solutions are not necessary, but at this point, just about anything is better than the status quo.

They were going to be a hot mess anyway. It looks like they are going to have Bill Cubit as the interim HC. He is current OC was the former HC and Western Michigan and had a decent run . Offense might be OK, but I didn't think they'd make a bowl game anyway.
-
Damn. I mean he was going to be fired anyway at the end of the year but he really screwed himself. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/13533196/tim-beckman-fired-coach-illinois-fighting-illini

so some bullet points on my stance so you guys can be clear. - I'm all for you owning a gun, as long as you're not crazy as deemed by a professional or a felon. I just don't see the need for myself. - I would 100% be behind you have to have a permit to own one. You know, be educated and informed on how to use it. - I would like to see a paper trail on guns similar to titles for vehicles. Hold the registered owner responsible.

Thank you. I respect yours as well. There's always going to be some form of government hold another part of government back. Developed according to http://www.oecd.org/ excluding Mexico. Which if they reported numbers could probably be #1 Improve the current system and make gun access harder with a paper trail. Making it harder for him to get a gun might have, but let's be realistic, he was a crazy fucker and even if he had to use a knife, at some point at least one of the two would have likely been murdered The killings. then the proper means and checks need reviewed because they're not effective. Paper trail and being held accountable. When people get caught with out a license they get in trouble. If it's the law and you're a law abiding citizen, you would. If not, see above. I'll read the thread. maybe there's a ratification or clarification in the amendment I missed when reading it. Harder to get access to guns and ammo. If it's harder to get, it's going to be harder to kill. I highly doubt this man was properly trained with a blade. Thanks I like to be informed of the world I live in. If it's harder for the person to get a gun, he might not shoot up the work place. I guess I missed the part where I said no one should have a gun ever. Because that is exactly what I haven't said. An armed guard at a mall that has been trained to use his weapon, that's exactly who I want to have a gun. I think the fundamental difference here is that I'm concerned with ways we can prevent these situations while others are more concerned with how to react during them. If you're answer is more guns, you fall in the later. so some bullet points on my stance so you guys can be clear. - I'm all for you owning a gun, as long as you're not crazy as deemed by a professional or a felon. I just don't see the need for myself. - I would 100% be behind you have to have a permit to own one. Thanks! or I guess I should thank the Washington Post and Google really. You missed the part about developed countries and see below. I don't think you really read my post. And since we have been mostly discussing guns and gun violence with a little mental health dabbled in, yeah, The graph is about gun violence. I never said the people weren't at fault, so I' not sure where you're going with that. They are at fault, the gun doesn't magically operate itself. If you make the gun harder to put in that person's hand, you might be able to change that graph in the future.

The process is functional but is it really any good? Speed and efficiently seems to be lacking, but how & who updates it? Is it a national database? Are Psychologists, psychiatrist or even judges able to add people to it? Is it just for guns? Because you could put a sales restriction at stores on ammo too. This guy was told to seek mental help in a court document when he sued for wrongful termination and discrimination. To me that's an automatic red flag. I haven't researched if he bought his stuff at a store or from a private individual. I would go even further to have guns registered and user have permits just like you have to have a title for a car and a license to legally operate it. Then really the biggest issue would be private sales. Obviously people will still do things illegally and always will. But when the "War on Drugs" is over (or lessened when Marijuana is legal), those officers need something to do. You can tax the 2nd amendment, Alcohol is taxed which is granted by the 21st. Marijuana will be taxed once it's legal and cigarettes are taxed. You're taxed to register your car, for the gas you put in, for the land you live on and own. Anything can be taxed. Sure some people will be pissed off at first, but if they want it, they'll pay for it. 2nd amendment is a little out dated anyway, no one is going to form a militia and take over or protect the Government. Sure they can try a military coup but we all know it's not going to end well for them. As far as what the tax money goes for, it would first be for improving the system in place or a new better system. Who manages it? Who manages the current system? Benefit/aid the victims? Nope. That's why you have health and/or life insurance and the ability to sue the party at fault. Sue the gun company? I say no, but people sued tobacco companies and won. Mental health funding, just a thought but there probably wouldn't be enough left over from trying to implement the system. And the health care debate is probably best served for another time but mental healthcare in this county is lacking. I would go even further to have guns registered and user have permits just like you have to have a title for a car and a license to legally operate it. I'm not naive, this will never stop all gun violence but it could deter it. As with most things, it will take time to see the numbers go down. I'm all for conceal and carry, I'm not for everybody having gun like it's the wild wild west. Anything more than a hand gun or hunting riffle seems overkill to me but the same could be said for cars was massive amounts of horsepower. But we have a gas guzzler tax for that. I don't own a gun, never felt the need to own one. I'm not scared of the neighborhood I live or work in. I guess I just don't see the benefit to owning one. I've shot guns and it was fun to do target practice and would like to eventually take one of your classes when life permits. I think that would be a fun experience. But I don't ever see the need to have one handy. If I get shot by some crazy person, sucks for me. I highly doubt having a gun myself would prevent that. I'm not saying my idea is perfect, possible or even plausible. I doubt it's possible because I'm not rich enough to buy any politicians. Maybe I'm just the only one getting tired of seeing it on the news every week and would like to see something change. That and seeing people saying "they shoulda had a gun too". That's just fucking ridiculous. Agreed with all this but not sure this is the best solution for gun violence. As far as irrational people/laws, there's laws against murder, child porn & bestiality to name a few. So yeah, we have a lot of laws for irrational people. USA! USA! USA! We're #1! http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/files/2012/12/firearm-OECD-UN-data3.jpg

+1 While I think there should be more regulations and restrictions to get a gun, I feel like this guy would have used a hatchet if he wasn't able to get a gun. I think that mental health is a much bigger issue in this country and would rather see that addressed more so than gun control. If you added a small tax (think gas tax, like $.50 a box) to ammunition and a tax to assault riffles and other non-hunting guns (think gas guzzler tax, like %5 of purchase price) you could probably help fund a good chunk for a better program for better back ground checks and mental health issues. Of course, the government would turn around and spend that money elsewhere anyway.
-
+1 I did settle for that. Asses can be built, tits have to be bought.
-
Agreed but there's too much money for most schools to say no. I can agree with that. The southern accent gives +2 on the hotness scale most of the time. The exception is when the draw is too much and they sound like they never finished 3rd grade.

If your just looking for where to spend future income, I don't think you need to pay a Financial Planner for that unless you need a something like a life insurance policy, investments etc. If you come up with what your financial goals are, you will probably come up with most of your answers. In your example I would ask if the credit line is intended for repairs etc. for the rentals? if the answer is yes, then I wouldn't take more out or max that out for other debt. In not, or you don't need it for anything else, I would say yes. You would be paying a lower interest rate and payment and the extra could go to principal. I was always told any extra payment on debt should go to the debt with highest interest rate.

34 OSU 10 VT 14-17 of OSU's point's come in the 4th.
-
Kicking myself now. I completely forgot to look at FCX for a possible short term play before I bought anything else.
-
no log jam in the Big 12 this year. TCU will have one loss and win the conference, Baylor will have 3.
-
+1, It's Blacksburg in primetime. I was a little nervous before suspensions and WR issues. I think VT is better this year than last year. They also have one of the best entrances in football too.
-
That's right, I forgot he was one of the suspended guys. Well there went his chance.
-
I've been waiting for Wilson to do something, maybe this will be his chance.
-
The boobs would be Alabama, her vag would be Auburn. Because they play between the hedges.
-
Or they could just let him suffer and bleed out. It's the cheapest option for the tax payers for someone that obviously brings no value to society.
