  1. I figured this would be gone by now, but once again craigslist is proving to be a shit show
  2. Yeah I guess it wouldn't make any sense to buy without a realtor, especially since I'll need one anyway to sell my house. Forgive me for the dumb questions, it's been a long Monday
  3. Yeah probably, I just want to know why
  4. Thanks Marc, I'm not sure if we're going to try and make a move on this house or not, but I will definitely reach out to you when the time comes. Yeah, you're probably right. Hypothetically speaking, if I check out this house and we decide we want it, is there a good reason to hire a realtor? We have already found the house we want, we would already have a finance guy (Marc) in place....what would we need our own realtor for?
  5. Good stuff. Thanks for the info I found a house that's been on the market for a few weeks, which leads me to believe I might have a chance. I think it's a bit overpriced so I would definitely make an offer less than their asking price. Here's the house I have my eye on..... https://www.coldwellbankerhomes.com/oh/west-jefferson/940-olmstead-road/pid_24007332/
  6. If I find a house that I want to buy, can I make an offer on it that is contingent on selling my house within X amount of days? Is this a common thing? I'm not trying to sell my house, but I am confident that I could sell it VERY quickly if I listed it. I don't want to actually sell it unless I agree to purchase another house, and I can't afford a new house unless I sell my current house. Would a seller even entertain a potential offer if I try to put a contingency like this in place?
  7. Wow, nice wheels, those look really good on that truck. What a difference
  8. Very cool truck. I think it looks perfect sitting at that height
  9. These things are titties. And they install in about 3 minutes. I love mine
  10. About time we get some good shit talk going on. Seems like Geeeeeeeeeesammy catches a lot of hell on here, but he's coming out swingin these past couple days
  11. I added an LED light and a cord reel in my garage..... I'm at the point where I'm finally close to satisfied with it. There's not a whole lot you can do with a single car garage unfortunately
  12. Trails is kinda north for half of us, kinda south for the other half, but definitely east for over 75% of us. Go east, young man
  13. My God I wish I could buy this thing. Just can't justify it right now. Bump for a good dude and a sweet bike. Magnas are so damn cool
  14. Very nice! Sometimes the cheap/easy mods are the best mods you can do. Looking good
  15. Yep, I should have started there. I'm already a member so that's probably the next step Exactly what I would do if I had the time/space/money. Craigslist is going about how I expected. Tons of emails, a couple "serious" buyers who never showed up. Lots of wasted time, but them's the breaks.
  16. Brad.....holy shit man, what a project. Looking GREAT so far! It's definitely coming along. Has it been pretty smooth for the most part?
  17. Good idea, thanks. I posted it on the Ohio 3rd gen FB page, but didn't think to post it elsewhere. Someone is coming to look at it tomorrow morning, and I have someone else tentatively scheduled for the afternoon if the morning person doesn't show. We'll see.
  18. I had a guy look at it today. Another waste of time because people can't read. I have about 14 others I still need to respond to. If anyone from CR wants to come look at it tomorrow, let me know ASAP, I'll be around all day. Here's the interior pics (please excuse the filth....haven't made the time to clean it up yet)......
  19. Yep I should have asked more for it. I listed it on the Dayton (NOT Cbus) craigslist this afternoon and I already have five different people wanting to check it out this weekend
  20. Hell yeah. I know I'm going to regret getting rid of it. My brother thinks I'm an idiot for selling it lol No, but I'll take some this weekend. Thanks for the link. This has the red/white "Deluxe" interior. But it also has crank windows and manual locks. It's a weirdly-optioned car Thanks! Yeah, the prices on these are definitely going up
  21. Looks great! That color fits that car perfectly
  22. I picked this up in a trade last summer from an older lady. It was her husband's car and she didn't know much about it. He passed away and the car sat for a while before she decided to list it for sale. She swore up and down that it only had 64k miles on it, but it's probably 164k. She also didn't realize it was a salvage title (I believe the car was in an accident many years ago). It's a 5.0L 305 TBI V8, 4-speed automatic, t-tops, true IROC. All original, hasn't been hacked up or messed with. 100% stock. Engine runs very smooth and quiet. Brakes feel great. Shifts perfect. Steering feels fine. It doesn't leak any fluids whatsoever. It sat in the garage all winter and started right up on the first try. The heat works great. The A/C doesn't work but it's all there, and if you jump the circuit the compressor will kick on and doesn't make any weird noises or anything. The passenger rear quarter panel has some bondo cracks and a little rust. The rest of the body is pretty clean. The clearcoat is peeling on the hood and roof, but the paint still has some good shine. The windshield has a crack, the dash pad is cracked, the tires are old (but don't leak air). The rear hatch "pull down" needs fixed. It rides rough over bumps, so the struts could probably stand to be replaced. The t-tops leak. The tach doesn't work and the volt gauge only works sometimes. It's an old third gen Camaro. I don't WANT to sell the car, but I'm at the point where I want to buy a different house, or buy a 6th gen Camaro. Maybe I'll do both. But one of the two will likely (hopefully?) happen in the next year. Either way, I'll either need the extra money or the extra space, so it doesn't make sense to keep this. Asking $3,000. I sincerely doubt you'll find a better IROC for the price, especially in Ohio. Look on craigslist or autotrader and you'll see what I mean. If you're interested in knowing more or you want to check it out, please let me know. I'm hoping I won't have to deal with craigslist.
  23. The rear diff cover is actually more of an orange, and it was like that when I bought it. I actually don't mind it on this truck. I'm kind of bummed it's a 10 bolt; I have the F44 "heavy duty chassis" option which often comes with the 14-bolt. Well unfortunately mine didn't. I want to wire brush everything underneath and coat it with rust converter or something. I plan on painting the frame black, so I'll probably paint the diff cover black once I get around to changing the fluid
  24. Hell yeah, I like your style. Great minds think alike  Flares are great, especially if you have wheels that stick out a bit. And on my truck, they help hide a lot of the rust The SM465 feels very primitive, in a good way. It shifts about as slow as my father's '57 Chevy pickup with a "3 on the tree" column shift. But it's certainly no race truck, so I don't mind
