  1. Yep, it removed the semi-gloss white/silver from underneath, exposing the original flat white
  2. So, I decided to repaint the drywall part of my garage, it was originally a flat bright white. I bought semi-gloss off-white for the top, semi-gloss silver for the bottom, and semi-gloss orange for a stripe. I got the fancy paint+primer stuff and went to town..... I painted the top first, the bottom second, then masked off where I wanted the stripe and painted the stripe last. Well, yesterday I just happened to rub my knuckle down the wall, and it "caught" the top edge of the stripe and pulled the paint back. I grabbed it and literally pulled the entire stripe off the wall in one long chunk..... What the hell did I do wrong? Too may coats of orange? Should I have used a primer? I'm assuming this time I need to paint the orange stripe, THEN mask off the stripe and paint the top/bottom edges (white/silver) after the stripe?
  3. Holy shit that looks nice. Silver usually looks so boring but damn that looks good
  4. Miller and Bruce are on point. Too much traffic because the roads are way behind the city's growth
  5. Ummmmm........ https://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/d/1983-chevy-s10-all-electric/6566336157.html 1983 Chevy S10 All Electric Conversion - $3950
  6. I saw this Jaguar convertible thing on Cosgray Rd a couple weeks ago. Didn't Wiggs have "stig" license plates? Also, not sure where else on here to post this......I bought some posters off of craigslist and had them framed, one of which was a 1986 Columbus Ford Dealers 500 poster (far right in the pic below). Apparently downtown Columbus hosted a street course race with IMSA for a few years back in the mid 80's! How cool is that? How many of you know/remember this? http://www.ultimateracinghistory.com/racelist3.php?trackid=781 http://racing-reference.info/showblog?id=2496
  7. Yeah I've never been on a cruise, but my wife and I went to a Sandals in St. Lucia last year and it was pretty awesome. There's plenty to do and see, and you can pick and choose how much/little you wanna do. I definitely recommend
  8. That's why God invented bluetooth
  9. That car looks really good in white Three pedals FTW
  10. Whenever I see the word "Hoonigan" I automatically think "douchebag"
  11. Not crazy at all IMO. I mean money is great, but it doesn't matter how much money you make if you hate your job. Give it a shot. I think you'll be great at it
  12. Bump....still for sale. Still getting emails every day but nobody actually showing up with cash
  13. I kind of like the way they look. They might look better with a polished/machined face
  14. LOL, where the hell has Buster been lately?
  15. Hell yeah. That's a good plan I missed the part where you said you might buy a Jeep every fall and sell it in the spring, that's an even better plan especially if you wanna keep the C10 from getting too rusty
  16. If you are daily driving a truck, especially an older fullsize pickup, keep in mind that fuel mileage won't be good. Also you'll be driving a 30-40 year old truck most days, and every day from November thru March most likely. If you find a clean C10 it won't stay clean very long being driven in the salt. Just food for thought. If that doesn't sound desirable, then you might want a different/newer truck or you might want a 3rd car like a cheap Saturn or whatever.
  17. How important is gas mileage as far as your daily driver is concerned?
  18. C5 for your fun car, I think that is an easy choice. Do you want to stick with only two vehicles? Would you be opposed to three?
  19. ^ Score! That hardwood definitely looks like it's in good shape
  20. I don't normally pick apart your comments on here, but that's a pretty dumb statement
