Yeah, you'd think they would have put a trap door or something on there. That's really the only hard thing to work on with this car is replacing the fuel pump

The fuel pump on my Camaro needs replaced, and the whole process is a bitch to do. You gotta drop the rear axle and whatnot. I know of the "hacker" way to do it which is much easier, by cutting a hole in the floor of the rear hatch area, but I'd rather have it done right.

 

I'm going to call a few places tomorrow and see what they charge. Anybody have any recommendations for where I should take it? Anybody know of somewhere really cheap?

I saw the episode and found the bike wipeout VERY amusing. I hate that Christensen douche as much as anybody. It's funny how he tries so hard to be a badass, yet he always fails miserably.

I like the black w/ polished lip.

 

Tinted windows and blacking out the chrome window trim would look very nice too.

Personally I don't like Focuses (Focii?) simply based on their lowly performance and terrible appearence. They look ugly as hell IMO. That's just my personal taste though, to each his own

Side note: I saw someone had the band 'Submersed' listed in the current music thread. I'd forgotten completely about this band. 'Hollow' was the only song that I know of that ended up on the radio. This is the type of stuff I'm looking for.

Then again, if for some reason they did put those gears in there, that may explain the low miles. Gas mileage would not be kind on an LT1 with 4.10's.

The tranny is a 4L60E, 4-speed OD, and I'm guessing the gears were likely added by somebody who owned the car after the cops owned it. No way would they put gears like that on a Highway Patrol car.
