  1. ^ This. I only put $5k down on a $125k house, and my monthly mortgage payment for a 1600 sq ft house in Hilliard is the same as a 1000 sq ft apartment in Galloway. Before I bought the house I briefly looked into renting one for a bit and gave up. Options are limited, and they are all too fucking expensive. Even with a very small down payment on the house, it was an easy call to make.
  2. Yep. That, and pretty much everything in his ad is bullshit. He hasn't had the car long enough to put gas in it, so how the fuck does he know that it runs perfect and everything works? The guy doesn't even know what fucking tires are on it. Again, there is nothing wrong with flipping a car. I just personally don't like the way this guy is going about it.
  3. I'm not disagreeing with you guys, nor am I claiming that my point of view is rational in this case. It is what it is, I don't make the rules on car flipping so it's irrelevant. This guy just reminds me of your typical craigslist window licker, and it rubs me the wrong way.
  4. If I wanted to overpay for a cool/rare car from an owner that didn't know dick about it, I would buy all my cars at Denny Dotson.
  5. This is a logical statement that I agree with. But what is the new owner doing to deserve a profit? He can't even take his own pics of the car apparently. If it was a 1998 Corolla or something, maybe it wouldn't bother me. Idk.
  6. I would imagine it's getting hard to find a super clean, low mileage GTO these days. Especially 6-speed cars.
  7. ^ I'm not surprised that the lazy fuck doesn't know shit about the car. Just trying to make a quick buck with zero effort, and some ricer drift kid will probably buy it and ruin that car. Again, I'm certainly not against flipping cars for profit, but this kinda stuff is fucked.
  8. I'll hate. The guy paid $1800 (or less) then lists it a day later for $4k? Nothing wrong with making a profit, but he sure as fuck isn't working for it. He didn't even take his own pics. Hell, the title is probably still in bluegilligan's name. Now instead of buying the car from someone who knows everything about it, the next owner will be buying it from some fuck head who has owned it less than a week and doesn't know shit. As a car guy, that shit irks me.
  9. I've heard nothing but great things about Metro Transmissions over off Agler. Everyone I know that had them do trans work says they are awesome. I had the trans in my Caprice rebuilt last year at Central Ohio Transmissions off of 33. They quoted me less than any other shop in town and their communication was top notch.
  10. Buicks are awesome daily drivers. Craigslist is 95% half wit mouth breathers, so I don't blame you for trying to avoid it. It's a nice car. GLWS
  11. If you want to turbocharge your car, I wouldn't plan your build around some little POS baby sized turbo that came off a Dodge Dart. It's not like a proper turbo will cost you that much
  12. Can you elaborate on this please? Are you saying once it warms up, every upshift is more "firm" than it should be? Also, does the AC work? No rust anywhere? No check engine light on for any reason?

    Part-Time Work

Nope but the more experience in related fields, the better your wage. If you have any history in customer service or home related stuff, it'll help.

    Part-Time Work

I worked at Lowes full-time for five years, and worked wayyyy too hard for the shit they paid me. But if you're just looking for part time work it couldn't be an easier job. As a part timer, don't expect more than $12/hr though. On second thought, yeah, you probably want more than $12/hr.

Lowes? The pay will suck but it's easy money
  16. I have a solid rear sway bar from GM Performance Parts brand new never installed. Fits GM w-body. $20 http://i.imgur.com/Ty0uWW6l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7hRaXFBl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/sVtbJe8l.jpg http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/10351314 Also have an a-pillar double gauge pod for 97-02 Grand Prix. $20 http://i.imgur.com/yfStaIQl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/DflWcRml.jpg Located in Hilliard
  17. Ended up buying one today from craigslist. This partucular brand is a "VersaLadder" but other manufacturers have similar products. http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/6/7/67646_zzz_alt3_500.jpg
  18. I would do it without hesitation. Just do your best to keep the salt off it in the winter.
  19. I'm looking to buy one of those multi position ladders (step, extension, scaffolding, etc) that fold up. Before I look at harbor freight or craigslist I figured I would ask here.
  20. Power seats, comfy, just look a little rough (VERY easy to replace though) http://i.imgur.com/xOXIaRCl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/C0MzXe3l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qmZeng6l.jpg It is a 21 year old cop car from the rust belt, so yes there is rust, which is why the price is negotiable... http://i.imgur.com/38geIhBl.jpg Good tires though! http://i.imgur.com/PeQGpUOl.jpg
