I also have paint matched power mirrors that will go with the car to replace the black ones currently on it, and good speakers front and rear (the speakers in it are garbage). On a positive note, the factory radio and CD player still work great

I think I am ready to put my Caprice up for sale. Here's all the important info... 1995 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 (police package) 5.7L 350 LT1 V8 139k miles Runs well Trans was rebuilt in June 2015 (yes I have paperwork) Tires have less than 2k miles on them (245's front, 275's rear) Craigslist ad... http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5479003477.html I want $3000 for the car. The underbody has a lot of rust, there are a lot of dings and scratches, clearcoat peeling on the roof, a small dent in the front fender, rust at the lower lip of the rear quarters. The exhaust sounds like dog shit because the PO replaced the cats with straight pipe and did a lackluster welding job, so the exhaust leaks on both sides. The AC really needs fixed, because leather seats are awful without it, especially with no window tint. Lastly, the car will need front pads and rotors soon, and the brake fluid needs changed (it's very dirty). I haven't done this yet because I have only driven the car a handful of times since last fall. The 9C1 has the same drivetrain/suspension/brakes/etc as the Impala SS. This car has all the good appearance stuff from the SS, and it's the same car with the same components underneath. It has power Bonneville seats (driver's seat is pretty worn). It's all stock, except for Bilstein shocks and a cheap air intake. If you want a cool daily that is extremely cheap and easy to maintain, that also has a ton of room front and back (and in the trunk), and is cheap/easy to mod, this is the car for you. Put a decent exhaust on it and fix the AC leak (probably a new compressor at this point) and you're good to go.

I've received some strange replies from craigslist weirdos and scam bots, but nothing like this before. I have one of my cars posted on there, and received this email from "Ela Bene"..... The car you have for sale would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for a film I am creating for a class I am taking in college. I am creating a "woman power" film in praise for women becoming more powerful figures, including CEO's, etc. My angle on showing this "woman power" is by showing photos and clips of women's shoes flooring the gas pedal of a car. To me, it shows that woman have absolutely no fear and can take on anything. It shows power! I was wondering if you'd like to help with this project by just taking some digital pictures or clips of a woman that you know (wife, girlfriend, friend) flooring the gas pedal, with the engine off, obviously (no actual driving). I am female, but I have some knowledge of cars, and I know this car has no center console, which has a better view of the pedals for the shots I am looking for.
