  1. It was on my '95 Caprice. Didn't really see the need for it. I don't have a trailer or camper or anything. If I need to pull something, I'll borrow my brother's truck
  2. Well, I decided to sack up and said fuck the sparks, I'll just cut it off with the grinder. Got a face shield and went to town, took me two minutes. No more trailer hitch
  3. Yeah I'm probably being worried about nothing, but I have very little experience with torches or anything that could potentially fuck shit up when in the wrong hands
  4. That's exactly what I did on the other side. For some reason I had better luck keeping the stud still with my Channellocks than I did with my vise grips
  5. Trying to remove the trailer hitch off my car, and there is one nut on each side that is giving me trouble... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/3246.jpg Using a 3/4 deep socket on a 1/2 drive breaker bar. After letting it soak in PB Blaster, I tried to loosen it and got nothing. It'll turn, but the stud is spinning along with the nut. Space is limited and I can't get behind it since it's mounted to the frame. On one side of the hitch, I was able to grab the thread with a pair of Channellocks and spin the nut loose a little at a time (huge pain in the ass) just enough to the point that I could awkwardly fit my sawzall between the hitch mount flange and the washer, and cut that bitch off. I'm not having any luck on this side though. I figured my angle grinder would get it off, but I'm nervous about throwing around a shit ton of sparks with it being right by the gas tank, and I don't have a face shield, just a pair of safety glasses. I'm not much of a mechanic. Any advice?
  6. Literally two minutes after I posted that, a good friend of mine called me and asked if I knew of any cheap fridges, apparently his quit on him. So I told him he could have this one. My bad guys
  7. Yep! AEP is coming out Monday to pick it up for a $60 credit, but come get it anytime before then and it's yours for $30. It's out in the garage, ready to go
  8. I would do a little landscaping first (seed, mulch, etc). If they still don't get the hint after that, I would talk to them and politely ask them to stop. If they don't, well at that point they can fuck right off.
  9. Thanks for the watches Alex, good meeting you
  10. Bump, please get this out of my garage so I can park my car in it! http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/20150301_120143_zpsrgssfob4.jpg?t=1425143610 http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/20150301_120157_zps5wgsisqi.jpg?t=1425143613 It measures 29 3/4 wide and 64 3/4 tall.
  11. Nice! Do you remember around what time it was listed for sale?
  12. Thanks! Nope it's just more paperwork, didn't have any issues though. For real? When?
  13. It does look great, I'm laying on it right now. I LOVE this thing We are 90% moved in. Just need to get a few more things from my girlfriend's apartment and the move will be complete.
  14. No basement. At first I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but the more I thought about it, I decided I didn't really care. Hopefully I won't regret it later. But it's just the two of us living here, so we have more space than we need. There's a decent sized storage shed in the back and a large storage area next to the pantry across from the laundry room. Plus I have my man cave on the first floor (back of the house) so a basement just doesn't seem necessary. Yep. I was looking around $100-120k, and couldn't find anything worth buying. When the sellers dropped their asking price from $140k, it caught my attention. Once I saw the house in person, I knew it was the right one. It's also in a great location, right off Cemetery and Leap Rd.
  15. A couple pics from the ad... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/zillow.01_zpsmkxpulwd.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/zillow.02_zps68banfti.jpg Here's the only thing the PO left in the garage, this little piece of paneling with tool/bit holders on it... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.08_zps3vik9yjo.jpg?t=1425145152 The garage will be my first priority
  16. I got tired of renting, so I decided to take the plunge into home ownership. I wanted to live in the Hilliard area, and most houses in my price range were either way too small, or total pieces of shit needing way too much money. I ended up getting lucky and found this... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.01_zpsf5pmpgpk.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.02_zpszcq8mrvi.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.04_zpsneyexut5.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.03_zps9znokemi.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.05_zpsctusuakv.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.07_zpsa1uzvmge.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2.27.15.06_zpswrevqd98.jpg?t=1425144531 It's a 5 bed, 2.5 bath, 1600 sq ft built in 1970. I'm not thrilled with a single car garage, but everything else about the house is awesome. It was owned by an elderly lady, and it could use some updating. My girlfriend is an interior designer (plus she has impeccable taste) so we're definitely going to add our personal touches as soon as we get settled in. As far as the exterior, I already took off that iron railing by the front door, and the storm door will be replaced next. Eventually I'll go with vinyl siding (and a different color) but that's way down the road. In the meantime I just want to do some little things here and there to up the curb appeal. A little landscaping should go a long way.
  17. Took this pic of my driveway 20 min ago, it's still coming down hard http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/snow_zpsil79qfd4.jpg
  18. I'll take the Invictas. PMing you now...
