    Do NOT "just get the work done". I see claims denied all day, because the repairs were done without proir authorization. Read your contract, or if your lazy, call the 800 number. See if its covered, and go from there. I do not deal with autolife in particular, but I have a feeling it is very similar to the contracts I see all day.

    PDS is here in town I believe. I work for a TPA or Administrator for VSCs. The main thing with these contracts is people do not read them. Most contracts list specific coverages, but when people buy them, they assume it is bumper to bumper. Just make sure you read what you are buying.

    My CL Type S was the same way. I went through 4 transmissions when I had it. That was after the recall too. It just going to keep failing, so I would go with the Jasper unit so there is a warranty.
