  1. Im selling a th400 tranny, dana 300 transfer case, and dana 44 rear end The th400 i rebuilt about 100 miles ago it does not slip or drop out of gear and shifts likle a brand new tranny $250 The dana 300 works perfect no problems what so ever $300 The dana 44 rear end i rebuilt about 100 miles ago and installed a lock right locker. $300 This all came out of a 73 jeep j40 full size truck. if you are interested in any of it please call me at 740-627-7470 or e-mail me at doug_wilson2004@yahoo.com
  2. you need to be careful switching to synthetic with a car that has high miles you could end up ruining your oil pump and blowing the engine, more common on toyotas but have seen it on other makes the oil pumps if weak have trouble pumping the thicker oil and eventually get plugged up
  3. my jeep will go 80 with 35s on it and not have any problem doing it. yeah it takes a little longer but not much i dont have anything done gear wise hell performance wise i only have a ram air
  4. i also have my jeep for sale 6500 only 73,000 miles 2000 se 5 speed
  5. the 6 cyl jeeps are actually worse than the 4 cyl jeeps when it comes to gearing, and the 4 cyl really isnt that bad on gas when lifted. I have a 2000 se with a 4" superlift and 35" grabbers and make it through as much if not more mud than TrailCity 4x4's f250 on 46" boggers i havent once had an issue with the drivetrain on mine. so if your looking for a jeep to drive to work during the week and play on the weekend i would go with a 4 cyl
  6. 2.5 all se's are 2.5 its better for crawling then the 4.0 but with a gear swap in the rear it would be just as good in the mud
  7. whats up guys i am selling my wrangler cause i have a baby on the way and just need something a little more practical. Its a yellow 2000 wrangler se 5 speed and lifted 4in with new 35in mudders has only 73000 miles it needs a new axle bearing and draglink but is driveable the way it is. Its great in the summer with the top off and great in the winter. Its one of the best vehicles i have ever drivin in the snow. I am asking 6500 but will work with any reasonable offer. It is also very good on gas for a lifted vehicle. I will get some pics on here soon. If you are interested you can give me a call at (740)627-7470
  8. trust me rick im not going low ball its a 3 row intercooler and handles 800 whp
  9. whats up guys i just bought a fmic off of a buddy and was wondering where i could get some pipe for cheap. I need 2 1/2 inch piping and i dont want anything that will need replaced soon. i want a good quality pipe
  10. like i said earlier the one i had was very reliable when i only had an intake and exhaust on it and the gas mileage wasnt that bad the car will kick its ass out very easy and is a very fun car for the money i dont think you will find a car that is more fun and as long as you maintain the car it will be good to you so if your only looking for a car to put an intake and exhaust on then i would say an rx-8 is the way to go i mean the sound system in it is probably one of the best factory systems out there the car looks good with some mods and will out handle just about anything for the price. just dont go putting a turbo on it cause then you will need a new engine.
  11. ok i use to own the one denny dotson had for a while and to tell you the truth the car is great if you just want to put an exhaust and intake on it but if you want to go any further with the car its a pos i put a turbo on mine and went through 2 engines and then denny dotson went through 2 also the are fun cars. they did fix all of the problems with the 13b for the 8s so it is a very reliable car stock. if you are looking for a car that takes corners and has great throttle response then that is a great choice but if you want a car to keep up with people on the highway then look else where
  12. the best amps to go with are the top brands alpine rockford kenwood audiobahn infinity. with amps more times then not you are getting what you pay for. If you were to buy say a pyramid or a jensen amp they say the wattage is 1000 when in all reality its only about 600 but if you bought a top brand like audiobahn or infinity they say the wattage is 1000 its 1000. now not all top brands are high dollar you can get some for rather cheap say 200 for a 600 watt but if you bridged it it would be 1200 which is were you need to be to get the most out of your sub. you always want to get an amp as close to the peak power of your sub without going over. IF you look on ebay than you can possibly get a brand new 600 watt amp for around 100 plus shipping. Hope this helps you good luck with your system
  13. they pay shitty i was only paid 7.50 an hour and half the people that worked there didnt know anything
  14. there are alot of trails outside of millwood off 36 in knox county thats where i go we have one hill correctly named the widow maker cause rigs flip backwards all the time. i have never tried it cause i use my jeep tj as a daily driver but we have alot of challenging trails there some have big rocks to climb too. They are not trails for amature offroaders though and dont go by yourself.
  15. i thought only the b18c5 was jdm and the c1 was us spec
