She did do a nice job.

Congrats Brian. It was nice to see the car run and the man behind the camera and video get to enjoy the driving side.

Just paid for a friend to bring his GT-500. Hopefully he doesn't try to wipe out the wall like my daughter did in mine.

Fun time for sure. The wife loved the cup cakes. I thought there were mighty fine as well. Looks like I have to get myself a birthday cake in a couple of weeks.

Watching the radar at the moment. I planned to load up the Cuda and bring it but that's a lot of work to leave in the trailer while it rains. Cleaning it up anyway.

I knew you had it in you. Hard work always pays off. Congrats!!

Well as Doc stated I did drive the car. The ride was pretty amazing and it was a comfortable car to drive. The brakes were really touchy so I didn't like that because if you just touched the brake pedal it seemed to apply the brakes far to hard and too quick. The steering was light and easy as well as quick to respond and as speed increased more road feel came through the wheel. The car was very well mannered and felt far more nimble than the weight of the car indicated. It is a heavy car. We were in rush hour traffic so no chance to hammer it but it did seem to be pretty quick as well for a heavy car. The GPS controllered transmission didn't really seem to be noticable at all. It allowed the car to always be in the right gear during all driving conditions and I didn't notice it shifting as we drove. The seats were very confortable and driving position and side mirrows were good. I didn't like the rear view mirrors visablity at all. I think the interior would look much better in a different color combination but everything was easy to reach and control while driving. The back seat seemed to be a little hard for Doc to climb in and out of but all two door cars have that issue as well. If I had 450K to spend on a car I would choose something more towards a sports car but if a confortable long distance driving car is you choice this is not a bad option and it does get up and go if press the load pedal even know you really don't hear the engine. The overhead camera view would be a great option to get you lined up in the groove at the drag strip. We asked them to bring them to NTR for the CR rental as they have yet to test them in a 1/4 mile tests but I believe they are going to pass on our offer.
Pretty sweet ride if that suits you taste.

Clone- You're the best! Thanks for the generous donation!
No problem. It's always a pleasure to help a good cause.

Morad up in Cleveland is a very good shot. Good prices too.

However I say go 3800 Supercharged swap. Been done several times and pretty easy.
Only two engines that will work on this site. The prices seem to be in the ball park compared to what I have seen so far.

Stepdaughter blew up the motor in her van. Looks like it's trying to give birth to a rod. Any advise on where a can get a good motor to replace it?

Thanks to CR for another great event. Got some good data on the Cuda and a thrill ride in the new GT500 with my daughter.
What could be better than fast cars and good people on a nice spring day at the race track.
Thanks goes out to the staff at NTR. They were very helpful and the track was pretty good all day.

Nice work. It's sweet to see your work continually improve.

Yep. And the rear whined like crazy. Had the ring gear swapped out and it still did it. Car has 1700 miles on it and is being lemoned out right now. Oh well. Just bought enough mods for my gtr to wipe the floor with just about anything.
I haven't seen any posts about rear end gear whine that's a shame you had all those troubles. Are you replacing it with a new one and just refunding the money?

sweet mini van too
My company mini van is bad ass!!!

Congrats. Hope you have better luck with it than I had with mine
What kind of issues did you have? I have read a few things with clutch and shifting but not much else.
So what did you run 9/28
