Slsk is kind of setup like a p2p network that only uses FTP to send files. You can limit who you send to and how many file transfers at once. If you are behind a router you will probably have issues connecting to people. You have to browse their files unless you do a normal search. You might get some weird errors saying couldn't connect to host. Pro tip: When searching for something open up at least 3 search windows and let it run for 10 minutes or longer.
