2001 WJ quadraTrac 74120 miles, 4.7 v8 had the car make a chatter comming from underneat the car, shop told me it sounded like a starter staying engaged and hitting the flywheel, the problem was only occasionally, went away for a few weeks came back, So i put a new started in the car, all was good for a few days and now its back!! No major problems with the car always fires right up when i did the starter there were no shims and the mopar unit came out, does this sound like a got a bad starter out of the box? does this sound like maybe loose flywheel bolts? anyone ever had a similar problem? I did the starter and it was fine for days, problem popped back up friday night didnt drive the car at all until today did it every time i drove it today! The noise seems to be non existent when in neutral or low rpm but leaving a stop its present, doesnt do it in reverse what so ever regardless the rpm and does not do it in neutral unless the rpm is on the 4k or high side, my next step would be to put it on a lift and have someone check the flywheel for cracks or loose bolts, that being said I tried to include as much info as possible.

fuse was blown, put new fuse in rear works go to use front sprayer it blows now to track down a front washer pump and try it out....

I have a 2001 grand cherokee limited 4.7 the front wipers work fine on all settings, my washer fluid low light in the display by the sunroof comes on but the fluid is full, also i have nothing in the back working no washer no wiper? any help? No, I have not checked the fuses yet its a down pour which fuse should i check, under hood? under dash? Thanks

Any feel jeep 4.7 guys out there? I am going to change the spark plugs on my 01 grand cherokee 4.7, any preference in plugs? brand? type? and if so why? The reason I ask is I have read/heard so many opposing opinions. Thanks

I just picked up a 01 grand cherokee limited, I do not have the key fob for it and i am under the impression it has to be had at the dealer, correct? If so does anyone here work for a dodge/jeep/chrysler etc dealer that can help me out? I would rather give a fellow CR member (or their place of employment on their behalf) some monies before i just end up at carriage towne. Thanks

I just picked up a 2001 WJ 70k miles and i have the typical problem, ac works ice cold blower motor works fine at all speeds but heat doesnt exist and yes i checked my coolant, the car is in great shape but please bear with me im new to this, ive been a ford guy forever (mustangs, ranger, etc) I managed to check the system codes and came up with a handfull. 45 46 47 48 also 51 and 54 56 and 20 am I in for a beating or is this something that can be fixed with the replacement of the blend doors through the glove box or taking the dash out?
