Cleaning out the garage and found a gallon of 80w 90 gear oil or gl-5 i think it is will this be fine in my trac lock ford rear end or do i need to add friction modifier? thanks I will only be using it for a short time to clean everyhting out and then use royal purple as well

So I'm having some problems with the car or shall I said had that I forgot about until today when i messed with it, Due to the symptoms(top wouldnt go up/down heat only blows out on low if that turn signals dont work and if i turn the key too fast it clicks and wont start) i believe it need a new ignition switch do does anyone know where/and if this is an easy job to replace on my 1988 mustang GT convertible??
