its a 85 chevy pickup it has a shim on it now i dont know if there is differnt shims.

This will be the second time in 2 months that i have broken a starter bolt.l i dont know why they are breaking, both times they have broken right at the threads. anyone has had this problem before?

it shakes, it vibrates in N,D drving down the road at low RPMS, when you give it gas it stops shaking, i have replace both motor mounts and tranny mount. what is making it shake?

i made my brother a deal that he can drive my pickup (85 chevy with 468) to school as long as he fulled it up with high test. i get a phone call when i got off work that the transmission is leaking fluid out. so i go were his at. comes to fined out he was racing someone and was manualy shifting it and cracked the transmission in half. so tomarrow he will go to jegs with me and buy me another TH400. i will post pics of it tomarrow
