  1. I worked for TruGreen back in the day. They made it a point to tell us that TruGreen was not a lawncare company. They were a telemarketing company that sells lawncare. Straight from management.
  2. An autonomous driving car can't overcome the laws of physics. If an object enters its path before it physically has time to stop, it will get hit.
  3. If the previous buyer never flipped the title, I would guess the sales tax is still due. Hopefully the sale price was not too high.
  4. Oh sh!t, I may have been up there that night as well. The guy I remember was trying to spin the rear tire and it caught and he flipped it backwards on top of himself at the line. good times!
  5. You can go to your federal student loan servicer website and it will go over all of the payment management options. Unfortunately, both of the extended repayment plans require you to have over $30,000 in student loans so that probably is not an option for your loans. If your wife has $30k+ she can get into the extended repayment. This would allow her to pay the smallest payment while accruing the required 120 months of on-time payments to be eligible for loan credits based on her employment. For the private loans, you are probably screwed other than getting a home equity loan or 401k loan to pay them off.
  6. When my Honda blew a timing chain 2 years ago and was sitting in the Firestone Car Care on Morse Rd I checked Pick 'n Pull. They offered about $300 for a 2007 Accord. I had it gone on Craig's List for $700 cash by the end of the day.
  7. I always crack up when I see somebody in the stall at work with their pants and underwear both pulled all the way down and sitting on the floor. Its like a f*cking 2 year old is in there taking a dookie. You are allowed to just lower them to knee level. There is still plenty of access.
  8. My friend's brothers car in high school was a 2 door Ford Fairmont Futura, baby blue, with a 351 in it. He surprised a few people with that thing.

    RIP Hugh Hefner

Well, I could care less if you use it.
  10. Are you a member of the Mach1 registry? You should post this for sale there as well. mach1registry.org
  11. Hi Tim. Can you send me a pricing guide and list of services? I am interested in having you work on my vehicle. 2004 mach 1, orange. Thank you. - Tim W.
  12. Filed a claim. Hoping this is not all just an elaborate ruse to harvest additional phone numbers.
  13. A few friends and I will have our Mustangs around Crosswoods area. We usually hit Winking Lizard for some dinner and beer afterwards. I haven't seen a single car broken down this year on the highway. That might be why this weekend snuck up on me.
  14. I am in Delaware and used a company called The Door Guys out of Marion. I was pleased with the selection and quality of work they did.
  15. Just buy another fridge.
  16. You used to be able to tell a scam from bad grammar. Not so easy with the Craig's List clientele. Although when you are named after raw bread as this guy was it is a bad sign.
  17. Thanks. I will forward the suggestions.
  18. I am posting this on behalf of a member of my Mach1 forum. I thought there may be some help available for him here. Hello M1R. This doesn't have anything to do with a mach 1, but thought I'd ask here since you guys are normally a big help. So, my wife has a 94 bmw 325i. Her door wouldn't close and we found out it was the door latch assembly. Only thing is there are 3 different options, one with no micro switches, with 1 micro switch pigtail, or with 2 micro switch pigtails. I know someone that has a shop that does exhaust and maintenance work on cars, but isn't a full service mechanic shop. Well he did an oil change on the bmw and said he would ask his german shop neighbor which door latch assembly it had. So he disassembled the door, took off the part and took it over to the german car shop and came back with a used door latch assembly (they sell used and rebuilt parts) No other place had the door latch assembly except the dealer for over $400 (I called every place within 25 miles from me). A couple online websites had them, but didn't show which of the 3 options their particular one was. I got the used one for $65. He put it in and the door was able to close again, only thing is when we would put the key in the door to unlock it, not all the doors would unlock, like normal and the driver door would unlock half way. So we could open the door if the key was turned to the unlock position. I figured that's fine as long as the door can close now. A couple days later the door stopped being able to lock and unlock and the next day after finding that out the car wouldn't start. It cranks and seems like it wants to start but won't. I tried jump starting it, but that doesn't even work. It started once during a jump for only like a second and it turned back off. I noticed a humming sound coming from the dash and played with the exterior lock again and the humming went away. It seems that when we try to lock or unlock the car it starts humming. I am no mechanic, but I'm thinking that we got the wrong latch assembly and somehow it is draining the battery? Is that even possible? The german shop gave us the assembly with 1 micro switch pigtail. Maybe we needed one of the other 2? I'm lost and need help. Any ideas?
  19. No low bowlers. What is your average?
  20. The limo looks like Michael Keaton's pimp car in the movie Night Shift.
  21. Two dogs and two cats. It will be vacuumed as best as possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Getting new furniture delivered next week. The old couch and love seat are free to a good home. Used but structurally sound and comfortable. I am in Delaware and this will need to be picked up as I don't have a truck to drop off. Send me a PM if interested and I can send my cell number. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. They are not going to take the car back either. You own it.
  24. My family has been to Kiawah Island, South Carolina many times. It is a private. gated barrier island near Charleston, SC. We have hit the beach there and not had people within 100 yards of us.
  25. It escalated quicker than the cost of the f&cking tires I rented last summer!
