It's a little more of a drive, but Asheville, NC has a Days Inn by the mall that has the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had, and I've stayed at a shit ton of hotels. I'd assume it would be a cheaper alternative to a B&B and the breakfast is probably better. There is also a lot of free/cheap stuff to do in the area. Worth the couple extra hours of a drive in my opinion.

I've been all over NC many times. The places I liked the best were Asheville, Hickory, Charlotte, Wilmington and Morehead City. Asheville has a lot of cheap things to do and is gorgeous. Hickory was always a lot of fun to just visit, kinda white trashy in parts, but every Friday/ Saturday night there were loads of cars cruising up and down the main strip. Wilmington and Morehead City had beaches and Charlotte was a blast, fun downtown nightlife, good food and some nice areas. Boon is pretty and is a college town (Appalachian State). There really aren't many terrible places that I absolutely hated in NC. It just depends on what kind of scenery you want. The mountain areas are very cool, but some of those areas you could have a bit of a drive to get to a decent town. The flatland areas are similar to Ohio. East coast area has beaches that are nice, but the beaches themselves aren't anything special IMHO. I lived in Pensacola though, so that's what I had to compare beaches to. I wouldn't suggest Greensboro because of the people. In my experiences, there were some shady fucks all over that area

I completely agree photographers should be paid for their work, but saying that one image cost $6,600 to take by adding up all equipment costs is ignorant in my opinion. If that image is the only photo that person used all equipment listed for, then it would be accurate, but I'm sure that stuff was used on other photographs as well. With that logic, it would be like someone buying all necessary equipment to start a clothing line (let's just say $50k for this post), running it for a couple years charging people for their clothes then printing a fucking sweet shirt, but say it cost them $50,000 to print that single shirt. ...... just my thoughts on that, it bothered me. You have to spend money to make money. Yes, you should get paid for all of your work though

I've never had an issue with Verizon in the 8 years I've been using them. I love having coverage everywhere. The guys on my road crew with AT&T didn't get shit when we were traveling the country. As far as 4g goes, I'll take the one extra second to load to have more LTE coverage That and I'm still grandfathered in on every sweet deal they've ever had

As soon as Jetflicks releases their apps on gaming systems, I'm done with cable. $50/yr and it has new shows on the day after they air and all seasons of each show. I think the only stations they don't carry are MTV and HBO. It was the best money I had ever spent when I traveled for work.
