I didn't say it wasn't possible, I just say I don't trust it. Of all the people making 400 or more whp on a PFC, how many motors are they on? That is the point, with a better ecu that is properly tuned you will get more longjevity out of a higher end ecu vs. a PFC. Jackson

For the rotary newbs and ignorants, The PFC is a "joke". I know because I have tuned mine. Don't get me wrong, the PFC is one of the best units out there for mild bolt-on cars. But beyond 400 whp, I just don't trust it. As far as the AEM unit, now that is the real joke for the fd. As far as that unit goes, for supras it is the shit, for the FD, it won't start the engine. I am serious, I know the AEM very well, I couldn't get my friends FD to start with the AEM, nor could the tuner that went to the AEM school. However, I plugger in my PFC and I could get it to start and drivable on a vacuum tune in under an hour. Jake, Trust me, You will not go wrong with the Electromotive unit. From first hand knowledge of seeing the box, it is the shit. Jackson

Jake, I got your PM about the pricing for the tec GT, I was going to recomend the Tec3R. However I see you are talking about the Tec3R now. I will get pricing for you for both. I don't know if you know this, but Logan has tuned at least 3 of them. One on his 3 rotor, one of Peters car, and another on a cutomers. I know Logan said by far it is his favorite ECU to tune. Just keep that in mind vs. taking your car out of state to have it tuned. Taking your car out of the cars primary enviorment isn't a great idea, sea level will affect the tune amongst other things. Mike, again it wasn't me who broke this tranny. This is what happens when you let someone drive your car. Although, I did win money on it. My first tranny was missed so bad(twice) going into third it didn't even allow 5th or rev to work at all. The current tranny has the notorious 5th gear grinding, however works perfectly fine. The t-56 will rev plenty high, being built obviously. However stock I do beleive they will still handle 7k RPMs though. Ohh, and Mike, how dare you compare me to Zayvier, that is just mean man, just plain out mean! Jackson

I actually just got lucky and bought it off of 7club. Mine was destroyed do to me letting my friend drive my car(actually, he was doing me a favor as I wanted to go out and get hammered, so I let him drive my car to DD me. Needless to say, I ended up paying with my tranny). I searched and searched, found one, guy had one for sale for over 4 months, he was upgrading to a dogbox. I ended up picking mine up for 500 bucks plus shipping and had all the receipts of the work, it was over 2k. Jackson

My FD tranny is cyro treated. It has held up thus far, however my 5th gear syncro still fucking sucks. That is what happens when you miss shift. fucking queer. I wish I had more info for you. Only thing I can say, I do beleive my current tranny is much better than the one that was in when I bought my car. Jackson
