I would say no. Carbed motor do not require high psi to run, I do beleive they run horrible if a EFI fuel pump is used. I do beleive at idle, a carb set-up only requires 5-8 psi. I hope that helps. Jackson

I too love the show. I am actually trying to get a job on a boat(I know a guy who knows a guy). I realize it is an extremely dangerous job. I would mount it in the engine bay. Two of my friends (one evo, one honda) had the MBC mounted in the cabin, and it was ungodly loud and rather unbarable. Granted, this was at least 4 years ago, so who knows if the technology has changed or what not to make it quiet. Good luck. Jackson
