brian i see you used a 255lph pump. do you think the same pump would work for a carb applicaton with spray at the same power level?

I would say no. Carbed motor do not require high psi to run, I do beleive they run horrible if a EFI fuel pump is used. I do beleive at idle, a carb set-up only requires 5-8 psi. I hope that helps.

The first thing the new own needs to do is upgrade the ECU(Power Fc, if they plan on keeping it a small build. Electromotive tecGT/Tec3r for the high horsepower builds).

I too love the show. I am actually trying to get a job on a boat(I know a guy who knows a guy). I realize it is an extremely dangerous job. As the guy I know, told me that 6 people died that he personally knew within the last 3 years. Therefore, he is trying to detour me away from wanting the job. Hell, I figure, use common sense and pay attention and with lots of luck I should be good. Nothing like making over 100k a season.

I would mount it in the engine bay. Two of my friends (one evo, one honda) had the MBC mounted in the cabin, and it was ungodly loud and rather unbarable. Granted, this was at least 4 years ago, so who knows if the technology has changed or what not to make it quiet. Good luck.
