  1. This is a 40 so the compact isn't available yet. It's a light gun I just didn't like the trigger.
  2. I'm looking for something that is DA/SA in .45. I really liked my hubby's CCW gun and should have bought something similar.
  3. I bought this new from the gun show a couple months ago and have put one box of 50 rounds through it. I didn't like the single action trigger personally. I paid $479.00, asking $425.00 or best offer. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff45/casilversti/beretta1.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff45/casilversti/beretta2.jpg
  4. It starts at $9.00 an hour through the temp service and there would be an increase upon hire.
  5. This job would be good for your wife or girlfriend if she likes to work in a casual atmosphere in a garage type setting. She would need good computer skills. Dependability is a must. This job is mainly data entry but there are other tasks that keep you busy for the day so you never get bored. It is a full time, Monday to Friday position 8-5. It would be temp to hire with benefits after the probation period upon hire. The company offers medical insurance, life insurance and sick/vacation time. PM me if you would like more information. We are looking to fill this position ASAP. I need an assistant!
  6. Shih-tsu. We have the female now and she is doing very well. It's actually been easier housetraining her than the male.
  7. His car is not your average Honda. It's been to a couple track days. He loves the Audi and wants to get another VAG.
  8. My husband was looking to trade his car for one of these cars for quite some time now. Wish I had seen this thread earlier. Still intested in trades or cash only now?
  9. The breeder we bought our male off of had that in the contract. The breeder we are buying the female from did not. I guess I will have to consider this as well. Thanks for all the great input. I really appreciate it. I wanted to get a few first hand examples from people who have done this before. First and foremost we are buying a companion for our dog but we would like to keep the option open for this in the future. I felt he needed to have another dog in the house. Our cats are pretty old 2 12 year old cats and 1 10 year old cat and they aren't up to the energy level the puppy brings to the house.
  10. Thanks for the info Verse and Trish. Trish- I wouldn't say it's last minute since the puppy we are picking up is only 8 weeks old, plenty of time to consider our options and think about this before she would be ready to have any pups. I would say at least at year to 18 months. If nothing else, we will have 2 great pets that we will love. He definately needs a companion because he is driving our older cats crazy. I hadn't thought about how to keep them apart when needed. Good tip. I'm not really particular on the type of contract. I have seen that some breeders are charging more for puppies if they plan on being bred instead of being spayed or neutered. I would only plan on breeding her every other cycle probably. The breed we have is a small breed of dog. The puppies should require a little less room to run but we have space.
  11. We won't be spaying or neutering since are going to plan on breeding them. We have a vet we use for our male. I was wondering how many times the female would need to be seen by the vet while expecting, that sort of thing, from someone who breeds their dogs.
  12. We bought a male puppy before Thanksgiving and fell in love with the breed. We are going tonight to pick up a female. Both are AKC registered. What are your vet bills like for the female, puppies? Any other tips we should know about before we consider this? Thanks!!
  13. Anyone ever had any experience with dealing with a probate from long distance? My father whom I hadn't spoken to in quite a few years passed away last summer in Missouri. A friend of his has contacted me shortly there after and told me he has assets. I verified some of them but not all of what he has said. I'm just not sure how hard this would be to do from long distance and worth the effort it would involve. Anyone had any experience with this?
  14. I never had my oil changed in my Sti there, just recall work and other warranty work. We always ran Amsoil in it as well but changed it ourselves. We had our oil changed mutliple times at Byers in the Audi with the same results.
  15. We actually talked to Josh several times. He took great care of us. Overall I was very pleased. I'm found out now that my undercarriage plastic is cracked and was more than likely done a couple weeks ago when I had tires put on. Nothing personal against Marty, I just didn't like the fact about the oil. I was never sure they were using my oil. I paid a considerable amount for it and wanted to make sure it was actually going in my car.
  16. Wished I would have known that earlier Nick I could have looked you up today when we picked the car up. I have to say I was impressed because I actually got my 1/2 quart of Amsoil sitting in my front seat unlike at Byers. I was never actually sure they even used the oil I supplied. I also bought some kick ass floormats for it since the old ones were awful, a CR discount would have been nice. It was Byers on Hamilton Rd. The guy's name was Rusty. He used to try to do a good job to get our items fixed promptly. I was never sure they were actually using our oil in our car or just taking it for themselves. I never got any extra quarts back even if I took in 5 or 6.
  17. Both of my brain surgeries have been done by Dr. Brightman at Riverside. My husband has had both his back surgeries done by Dr. Chen associated OrthoNeuro at the New Albany Surgery Center. I would recommend both of them again. What type of procedure is your friend going to need done? You can PM me if you don't want to post it on here.
  18. I'm having my car serviced there for the the first time. I have had all my work done at Byers in the past but the service manager I liked is no longer there. So far it's been 5 days in a '11 A4 loaner. I guess my car needed quite a few things done!
  19. Sorry for the thread jack but we became preferred customers of Amsoil and paid the yearly membership fee. All we have to do is order online and pick it up at the warehouse on Hadley Dr. It might be worthwhile if you purchase enough of it like we do.
  20. Thanks for the info, much appreciated! I'm a Android newbie.
  21. I live in Knox and it took almost 40 days for them to call me! I don't know if it had anything to do with me having 2 or 3 FBI background checks in the last year for my job and other reasons! Good luck!
  22. Welcome to the site. Maybe I'll see you around Mt. V sometime.
