  1. I think i'm just going to buy the M&P tact. I just can't find a kit to build my lower for much less than the price of this after it's all said and done, and not going to take 3 more months! I liked how this gun felt and handled and if I have to many problems with the mags i'll change lowers. One more question, what all is chromed on this?
  2. Thanks for the info! We just got back from blackwing and was looking at different ones and it would cost more to build it like a tactical from a base. They had one m&p tact but wanted 15xx for it. I have a del-ton kit ordered built like that and not far off on the price. But the only thing with del-ton is that it still might be up to 3 more months before I get it and some of the 1600 rounds of 5.56 I have needs used!
  3. Have a good time Anthony. Be sure to post some pics.

  5. Anyone have one of these? Likes, dislikes? Any better suggestions? What is the average price for a new one? I found one for $1300.00 is that average? Discuss.
  6. I loved the graphite color so much we might paint our next project that color. Or pick up an EVO someday. I'm not too fond of the "pick me up red" I have now.
  7. Damn I wish I was in the market for an EVO still. We were looking for one last fall and silver my was #1 pick. Good luck with the sale!!
  8. My hubby is a truck driver. He drives haz-mat locally. He went to Roadmaster in late 1998. It was 5K back then, it's probably more now. He went to work for a regional company for a couple years to get some experience in. He's been with his current company for 8 years now. I'm sure he would be happy to give you some pointers. PM me if you want.
  9. Welcome Brian. Your car pics make me miss my Sti. I love silver.
  10. Congrats! Wow there have been so many babies lately. I guess we all know what you guys have been up to.
  11. Sorry to hear Andy. I'll keep you both in my thoughts.
  12. I use exclusively BP. My hubby hauls BP fuel so I try to help support his company in what little way I can. All the fuel comes from the same pipeline, it just gets different additives at the terminal depending on which station it's going to. He hauls gas from the Marathon and other brand terminals also to BP stores. It depends on whether the store is company or independently owned also who gets which additives. Company owned stores receive "branded" BP gas, independent owners do not necessarily.
  13. Sorry to hear Rick. I'll give you a shout before we hire any contractors around here to make sure it's not the same company.
  14. I'm here because I've always been a car enthusiast and enjoy meeting people with the same love of cars. I know I can always come here to find out things about my cars when I need some guidance.
  15. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. Good luck!
  16. Congrats! What's her name?
  17. My hubby just bought some from a place in Shelby that was having a huge sale one Friday. I think the name of it was Sportsman Outdoors, but not sure. It might be worth giving them a call. He's all over Ohio so he could pick some up for you maybe.
  18. I had my Sti valet parked a couple times at OSU hospital. One time the kids argued over who was going to go get my car. I could hear it for blocks!

    MRI

I've had many head CTs and MRIs lately for the tumor in my brain. The trick is to have a washcloth over your eyes before they put the cage on. It helped me greatly. I could see down the tube but not directly up. The Sirius was awesome too. The MRI I was in at Riverside didn't have Howard 101 on it though Spaceghost. I asked to listen to Bubba but the station was blocked.
  20. Are they all pressure mounted? I'd like to find another screw in the wall style. I hate the pressure mounted ones. * Edit- I checked the link and see they are pressure mounted.
  21. Thanks. I'm heading into town tonight to pick up the Amsoil and other supplies.
