o shit i forgot about the firecrackers.....one went off like 8 feet behind and popped my ear drums lol plus a dude who almost got shot....ahhhh just like the westside used to be, glad it was back for at least one night. haven't seen the lot that packed in awhile!

and if i remember correctly back in 04, how many retro type vehicles were being released. the pt cruiser and such vehicles were out and retro styled, but didn't have a big name like the gto. the whole retro movement started with the mustang imo, thus leading us to where we are at.

i think the gto hit its targeted demographic....it looked like a gtp on steriods, but it was a good performing car. the biggest problem with the gto was the weight imo. i suspect the challenger will sufer the same fate, but it makes up for it in styling. evo/sti=gto apples=oranges

that was a lot of blood from lytle! i thought he might pass out from blood loss lol yea and i didn't give griffin enough credit. he is good but i think the reach advantage plus the leg kicks is what saved him. i was also impressed with rampage's defense, if only he had been more aggresive he would've won one or two more rounds.

i agree that the technology of the cars have increased but the tracks haven't. trails has been largely the same for the past 10+ years and if you don't count the tower, staging lanes etc....we could be talking closer to 20 years.
