i can't explain why it was done like this. your logic sounds accurate to me. i will def do some research into this though, i to am intrigued by the procedure. it sounds to me the cooling would be more efficient after the air has been compressed. on the other hand spraying high pressured water into the carb, which is basically what you would be doing, just doesn't seem right.

hmmm thats a valid point.......but the man building it is quite knowledgeable about setups like this, im sure there is some explanation for this. hell for all i know it may not be meth at all. its def not nitrous though. EDIT- turns out its a water injection system, he says he will eventually run a 50/50 meth and water combo in the future

the only actual factory mopar racercars were 68 Cudas and 68 Darts. both were equipped with race hemis, lightweight windows, fiberglass hoods and fenders among other things. production was around 100 for each model, they were also not street legal very similar to this package offered. there were models offered with certain options to mimic this, but all were dot legal and not legit racecars

1000lbs lighter is an unbelievable drop in weight, so its tipping the scales around 3200.....not to bad, still heavy for a gutted racecar though.
