Bring it by sometime and we can go over the car together and see what we can do to it. I've had pretty good luck wetsanding other peoplea paint work. But I'll tell you up front if I didn't paint it I don't know how thick it is. In saying that I've broke through clear because it was too thin.

 

I understand, the car still needs put back together. When it is done I will be in touch. I was just curious if it was something you would consider.

Are you interested in doing some finish work or paint correction? I had a car painted that needs a proper wetsand and buff. Many fish eyes and flaws that I would like to try and get out.

My father has been in the business for decades. He is a small crew now, but may be able to get the jobs done. I know he had a heavy work load a month or so ago. Although it is worth giving him a ring. He is an old school guy and very good at his craft.

I scrolled right by it haha. A friend at work was interested. I dont think those wheels will work well on his 4 lug Mustang anyway.

I have a friend of mine in Maine who needs some help. He is a bit down on his luck at the moment and to make things worse his turbo just took a crap. The CHRA is toast and he is exhausting options. I am curious if anyone can help get a fair price on a replacement for him? I told him I would help considering the local car community in Maine is quite small.

Fleetwood Mac always does it for me.

 

They definitely do cost a bit much for being a compact car. But I think the MK7 GTI will be running low 12's maybe break into the 11's with bolt ons and traction as well. Then you also have the A3 running faster times with a DSG. Unitronics A3 supposedly put down 385awhp with intake/exhaust/tune and Golf R turbo. 350awhp and mid to low 12's on the stock turbo. They told me the runs were done in December in Canada so they expect better.

I talked with the guys at Unitronics at a show a few weeks backand they are doing just as well. They told me they have their new A3 running 11's with the same mods and the Golf R turbo. It was running low 12's on the stock unit.

Carfax is only as good as the information provided to them. Big question as stated before....was it one of their personal fleet cars or bought elsewhere? If bought elsewhere it sounds like an improper inspection was done when it went through service. Or they just didn't bring up what they found. This is a tough one and I am unsure what can be done legally if the car was repaired and holds a clean title.

I just heard about it after all the leaked stuff came out, how old of news is it?

 

It's not that old lol. Just a little over a week since I read about it.

Did anyone else read the hacked stuff? There was stuff in there about a cross over film of 21 Jump Street and Men in Black. Also talks about Spiderman appearing in Captain America and Marvel getting the rights back to make new Spiderman movies.
