    Here's the question: IF Rick had a client that needed surgery, would he send him to Kirk AND IF Kirk had a patient that needs to pursue surgical alternatives, would he send him to Rick?

    WASHINGTON (CNN) — Another major American industry is asking for assistance as the global financial crisis continues: Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said Wednesday they will request that Congress allocate $5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry.

     

    “The take here is that everyone and their mother want to be bailed out from the banks to the big three,” said Owen Moogan, spokesman for Larry Flynt. “The porn industry has been hurt by the downturn like everyone else and they are going to ask for the $5 billion. Is it the most serious thing in the world? Is it going to make the lives of Americans better if it happens? It is not for them to determine.”

     

    Francis said in a statement that “the US government should actively support the adult industry's survival and growth, just as it feels the need to support any other industry cherished by the American people."

     

    “We should be delivering [the request] by the end of today to our congressmen and [secretary of the Treasury Henry] Paulson asking for this $5 billion dollar bailout,” he told CNN Wednesday.

    If you want a long range rifle, get a .308. You can shoot 1000 yards easily and the ammo is readily available. However, if you really want to get out there, you'll spend more on the optics than the rifle. If you want more than 1000 yards, you'll need a .338 Lapua...

    I buy 1K rounds of .22lr at a time. When I'm at the ranch in NM, I can use all the rounds in one day popping prairie dogs! The most fun is trying to hit the bastards on the run at 200 yards.

    Are there laws prohibiting transporting guns across state lines? Say, would I be able to bring a shotgun to MA for the yearly turkey-shoot? (Skeet shooting, not real turkeys)

     

    You have to check the law of each state that you'll travel through BUT you will probably never have any issue unless you are doing 130mph through a 35 and when you get pulled over, you whip out the weapon to show the cops how shiny the barrel is.

     

    As far as I know, transporting a firearm that is secured, isn't illegal in any state. Secured means closed up in a gun case, glovebox, or something out of reach.
