Another question. I have 2 300 watt amps. Enough power to get my subs going? The subs have a 600 watt max. Should I just sell the two 300's that I have and get a 1000? Or will they work for now?

Yeah, I'm planning on running under the carpet. So if I just take out the bottom part of the seats I should have opening to get the wires through?

Got some subs today, and my back seats dont go down, so how am I supposed to get the wires to my CD deck? 88 BMW 325i is the vehicle I'm trying to work all this on.

Theres 4 of them. I ordered four used ones. I'm just gonna replace the one I need to for the moment, and keep the other ones handy in the car. Thankfully, when this probelm occured I was coming from the junk yard and I had the tool box handy, but I had to hit up Parsons AVE to get some electrical tape.

Ok, well today I had a little problem with one of my window controls in my 88 325i. I started getting smoke from under one of the buttons. I ordered new switches for the controls, as well as some female connectors to replace on the old wires. But my question is, is it the switch that went bad or the wiring. The switch was melted from the overheating. New wires as well? Or not necessary?

Dumb asses. THats like chopping down a tree with your car underneath it. Just not on such a high scale of cost after the fact.

There extremely small. Not worth getting a new top. It would not be worth getting a new top. Duct tape seems like a better option just for days I feel rain is coming.

Can I just use iron on patches on a soft top to repair tiny holes. I cant fit my fingers through them, I have 4 tiny holes, only one seems to be big enough to allow water through it. Any suggestions as how to fix this problem?

As far as parts go, most of them are not bad, just dont go to BMW and get them. I just got my 88 325i, runs great. As I said, parts are not bad, just dont go to BMW and it will cost you just as much as any other car.

Looking for some decent subs, that are boxed and an amp. Looking for 2 10's or 12's, must not be blown, must be in good shape. Not looking to spend over 250 really. I dont have cash in hand at the moment, may take a few weeks but if your looking to sell let me know.

Wow, I remember when I used to live in there. I think I had a condo though. 257 was the number. Not a bad area there, but I did get jumped in the woods back there.
