the blue is actually from the previous owner because he had to slip the clutch like crazy so it wouldnt die when putting it into gear because the old motor was shit. it would die unless he held high rpms and pulled out slowly
i didnt know that they just sold the disks
and i might try to stay away from spec because on the mr2 board alot of people have said bad things about them
yeah i called spec they said i need a receipt and has to be with in 120 days of purchase. Also i bought the car with the clutch in but still theres only 2k on it. and yeah im pretty sure they dont have a un-branded clutch and why would i even buy that.... also you cant resurface the pressure plate...
The clutch went out so we took it apart and i wasn't expecting this.
Is this even possible because i only have around 2k on it.

I have a 91 mr2 with a 3sge gen3
I was driving on the freeway last week when all of a sudden the cars RPMs jumped and it seemed as the car was out of gear but it was in gear.
So i pulled over put it in first(felt like it should) let out on the clutch (also felt like it should) and nothing in first gear doing absolutely nothing. Before this happend i started to notice clutch chatter. So what im thinking is that could this be the throwout bearing or something more in depth? The clutch its self has less that 2k.
thanks for any help.
yea it cant beat but will hang with the turbo version it has 170hp or so its a jdm 3sge not the stock 5sfe
if you knew anything about mr2, i posted a picture of the motor and thats not the 130hp version, also a turbo mr2 has 200hp
