  1. Sounds like tomorrow night will be our best bet.

    Aldi

Yep. I am typically happy with most things I get there. With there being only and option or two, if I dont like it, I put it on my other Giant Eagle list and get it there for more $$$. My wifes family did have the most amazing ham I had ever had at their Xmas dinner....said it was from Aldi...was shocked.
  3. I care lol. Good to know! Must have a heck of a shop behind that house. Didnt expect that on Streetview
  4. Just watched some YouTube vids on them. They seem pretty legit and used by a lot of race teams and such. They seem great for a smaller (read: lighter) car. No effing way Id try an suv or even a full size car on one. (If I had to be under it)
  5. LOL yeah those are Huuuge
  6. If you get them here they technically last forever https://www.lifetimeledlights.com/products/category/headlights
  7. x2. Sports car styling on SUVs is DUMB...like the new Lexus' ect.
  8. Since I spent most of my high school and college career building detailed architectural models I am pretty good at wrapping presents. Still hate it though lol . I did find that the paper they sell at Lowes is awesome...like using grocery store paper bag. It makes itself look good.
  9. I would think it may be in the price of the roof? Like when you buy a car alarm, ect.
  10. Ohhh gotcha. Leafs are probably fine then. When I pulled with my XTerra recently I stopped by Advance and grabbed some helper leaf springs which did help tremendously, though my stockers were tired and bouncy. I actually still have the helpers on it to this day lol. Slight bit of extra assurance for roughly $25 http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/XTerra/IMG-20130827-00039_zps70ae5806.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/XTerra/IMG-20130827-00038_zps3cddbd0b.jpg
  11. I think your jeep will tow it just fine. Get a bumper rated to tow or get an aftermarket hitch that connects to the frame. The FJ is pretty short wheelbase and yes it sucks to tow with, but that little trailer and a bike should hardly be a problem...i am talking about larger enclosed trailers that can blow all over. If you are really concerned get a set of the inflatable air bag helper things you put in the rear coil springs.. can fill them up a little to like 15 or 20 psi and it should help a lot. Bigger concern is if your brakes are up to snuff assuming the trailer has none. Just have to drive accordingly, lower gears ect if it feels weird. Not sure what that trans is, but if its an auto maybe stay out of OD....typically the convertor is unlocked in OD and can build heat way more while towing.
  12. That happened to me once...ended up burning through a pair of new BFGs on my Foxbody. Thought I could run it lowered for a minute until alignment. Turns out I desperately needed camber plates to get the amount necessary to keep the tires properly aligned Blown struts would be more apt to create uneven wear in a pattern, and they dont hold the car up, the springs do, so even if they are shot, they shouldnt really make the tire wear that way exclusively. Different size tires are not going to blow your diffs. A cars tires spin at different speeds and distances all the time just by turning more one way than the other ect ect. The only downside is safety and different amounts of grip and traction typically.
  13. Killer deal for a locked 80. Looks like itll clean up decently.
  14. It could probably use new springs OME makes a kit that is only like .5" over stock, but you could also just add trim packers to the existing springs: http://www.metaltech4x4.com/p-460-ironman-4x4-fj80-rear-coil-spring-trim-packer.aspx

  16. Gotcha...I edited as I saw it sold before lol Sounds like you got a heck of a deal! Super low miles. Is it locked? black is pretty valuable in itself. Ironically it is the cloth interior that is rare and thus people, want...funny how that works!
  17. Nice. I REALLY want one, but they are hard to find in good enough shape to give up the FJ for! All the info you need: http://www.sleeoffroad.com/newbie/newbie100.htm
  18. My dad has an old heater he installed in his 2 car that looks almost just like that one. It is AWESOME. Heats it up toasty warm in short time. I mean its not going to be 80 when its 12 degrees out, but you will strip down to a t-shirt if you are working on a car or something. He ran 240 up to a giant switch box so he can cut power to it during the summer. you can see it up in the corner of this random old pic of my Mustang lol http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/mustang/PICT0597.jpg Just have to watch snow melt unless you have a central drain...it will run down to the garage door where it will freeze under it.
  19. Signed up for a ride...Thanks!. May very well need it this Sat after an Xmas party if they are available.
  20. Im not a fan yet...but seeing them in person does really help.
