  1. Haha. I actually cant do that. If it were to pack much and build up both our vehicles will hit the garage header. I gotta be on top of it with the snow shovel this year if we get any big dumps!
  2. Subscribing! I've never really even seen a rotary and had to look up what 'FD' meant, but this thread is super interesting. Love the detail.
  3. that just means it is OLD. Antique even. Do you make certain they arent worth a load of cash before you tear into them??
  4. Isnt one of the main (only?) differences in the 5 and 5s the fingerprint reader? If so it is pretty pointless. I never use it because if enabled it HAS to lock immediately...cant set it to lock after 5 or 10 minutes if you have times when you are off and on it in a short time span.

  6. Saw this yesterday. If you have a 6x5.5 pattern you may want the rims too http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/4702619656.html
  7. Yeah costs are absolutely astronomical. I am moderately lucky enough to be able to work from home and watch our 4 month old daughter. Luckily she sleeps a good bit still and I can get some work done. Probably have to pony up for some sort of care eventually. I agree on the Facebook suggestion. Our area seems to have a ton of groups and Facebook based 'forums' that have already offered a lot of options.
  8. :dumb: yeahhh... I was. The point I was sort of trying to make is that a high(er) powered car with the wider tires and not-so-nice-in-snow gearing can be a challenge compared to a 'normal' RWD sedan or something..like a run-of-the-mill v6 Charger...especially if you are not used to it. I dont know the OPs vehicle record, but winter is coming up...no fun ditching a mustang in a blizzard
  9. I would not depend on a mustang or camaro as your only DD. I drove 5 liter mustangs through it all during high school and college. A lot of the time I had a nice Chevy Blazer on standby to get to work. Those evenings when we drive to work on dry roads and then there are 5" by rush hour...you are not getting home. Sure it isn't an every day thing, but I think it happens enough to make it a not-so-good idea. As others said, if you can keep the Accord then go for it.
  10. Bright motion lights? I assume you are parked right in front of a garage door...You'd think the sucker would get outta there if a light came on... I doubt theyd want to go further if they were lit up like a high school football game.
  11. Nice. I now live like 5 minutes away. Will have to come out there to check it out.
  12. Haha indeed. Too bad it is plastic or you might scrap it for close to that price lol. Is it on CL!? Should have sold within hours on there.
  13. Indeed. My LCAs are all seized up and it drove terribly after I lifted it. Ended up just getting adjustable UCAs for now since my only option will be to cut the lowers out
  14. Nice work!. I think you will be decently pleased. Looks like you did a great job with the coverage. I am not looking forward to rolling around on my gravel driveway lol. It will wash off with soap and a good hand washing so long as you dont leave it there forever. Just saw yours it a Toyota too. I would highly advise, if you get a chance, to take out the LCA cam bolts and really antisieze them well. Same with the front strut mount bolts and any other big bolts that go through metal bushings... They will seize with the road salt. Maybe not in just a year or two, but man it SUCKS.
  15. Why the F would someone even try to save that thing lol.
  16. I'd go tall and skinny for snows. The 195s would be a good fit. That is what I went with for my old Mini. Had found some used cheapo 16's on CL and was good to go. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/Mini/Snows1220101.jpg 16's make a huge difference...these are the 17's for comparison http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/Mini/0630102.jpg
  17. Based on looks and hands-off impressions alone I would vote Chebby. Ford a close second. x2 on the Chrysler products....have always been amazed at the amount to new-body rams just rusting though already. Then again I cannot fathom dropping over 40 on something that is 2WD?! Maybe it is just my off-roading mentality.
  18. Motorcraft. Autolite. OEM stuff is typically best for a simple tune up.
  19. I bought Morgan's yesterday. Thanks though!
  20. I wouldnt want to chance it...you are right it could be tiny, but I just want to plug and play lol. I am inclined to say no front-loads. I see a ton of the ones like my parents used to have....older Whirlpool Duets, and IMO they were junk. Time bombs as far as second hand goes. I figure some standard entry-level stuff fits my needs well enough...and they are going in a leaky old basement.
  21. Edit: Thanks again Morgan. /thread Anyone have any good leads on a decent set for around $200? Nobody on Craigslist returns emails anymore it seems. Thanks Adam

    Gas Grills

That Char Broil at HH Gregg still looks like a decent buy. I too, am trying to find one There was one at Menards I saw for like 140 from 180 that seemed decent. Had cast grates and a side burner...I dont think it was a good brand though...
