  1. . Ive been trying to find a 'better than normal' deal on tires...no go. Even with Discount tires "Black Friday Deals" they are still more than TireRack @ $188ea. !. plus 295/75/16 General Grabber AT2s are not the most common pieces of rubber out there. Was looking for an excuse to buy them LOL
  2. Black Diamond. My FJ is Black Diamond...but you dont want Toyotas version lol. The speckles are purple, green, and blue instead of the silver, grey, and awesome in the first pic.
  3. They are wrapped according to the guy at the beginning
  4. makes sense. probably will go for more than that. Cant believe it is like 10 years old!
  5. Sounds like someone kind of had it out for you, unless they blow a tire in case you see them and try and run them down.
  6. Well the fact of that matter is my wife wants one. Just want to learn with it and try and get some good shots we can keep and share...I also think she just wants to take it up as a new hobby whether it be while we are out at a park, or offroading somewhere. I have done some more looking as well this past hour and it seems decent. Not a killer deal, but the additional batteries and stuff may make it worth it. I think the shutter count is just over 16K, but he is meticulous with his stuff so I am not too worried about that...still seems a little 'high mileage'.
  7. Talking about buying a Nikon V1 from a guy I know. I have no worries about the condition or operation. My concern is if 1. Is it a decent deal? 2. Good for a beginner. My wife and I really want to get a decent camera now that we have a new baby around! She doesn't want to record our life with only iPhone pics! (though they aren't all that bad!...maybe they are...i haven't a clue) It is a Nikon V1 twin lens kit and everything it came with. (10-30 vr and 30-110 vr) with a add on hand grip, 2 extra batteries, extra charger, 2 8GB cards. They're asking 350. Worth it? They are just selling due to an upgrade to a v2. Thanks
  8. It would only help in the general idea of sun damage I would imagine. My screens are now behind my storm windows, but I assume you are talking about new vinyl-type windows
  9. Sad So if they just really wanted the trailer (or maybe tools ect) do you think this thing will just end up at the bottom of a lake? Seems like it would be more of a whoops than a fack-yah moment when they open it up.
  10. That is downright dangerous. F it is cold out there. My furnace is running for ten minutes, and then off for maybe five...repeat. Should probably just put a coat on! Cant believe it will close in on sixty out on Sunday! WTF Ohio
  11. At about 3 inches. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a299/iwashmycar/405C43BD-46C7-428F-86DD-48D16F3AE412_zpsipbac3cy.jpg
  12. Same here downtown. It is absolutely gorgeous, but I am waiting to lose power...I can already see a few downed branches just looking outside. And I was POSITIVE I had a snow shovel...nope
  13. Then it really kind of came down quick! Couple inches
  14. Did you build this one? about how big in diameter is it?
  15. Yeah...I decided to run to the store and EVERYTHING around here up to Bethel / Sawmill was FRESHLY coated. I dont mind the brine after people run over it a while...just hate being one of those people lol
  16. Still there and embedded for me....odd
  17. I'm surprised it can beat a 430 carrying that guys massive balls.
  18. I like the General Grabber AT2s...seems like a slightly softer BFG KO with better sidewall. Goodyear Duratracs are the best all around all-season that look absolutely killer to boot. You can get the Goodyear Authoritys at Wally World which are just a cheaper similar version (also probably just P-metric weight ratings). The Falken Rocky Mountain ATS / Wildpeak AT are also VERY good tires for the money. If you like the KOs, and want to spend the cash, they are coming out with a KO2...pretty much the same center tread, but with different outer lugs. These recommendations are with offroading in mind, but still good for Ohio street/snow (the GY or Falkens specifically). http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/Goodyear-Wrangler-Authority-Tire-31X10.50R15LT/11983156
  19. Has there been an actual pic yet ?
