  1. Take the law into your own hands....Talk to your rental office aboot coke and other illegal substances being in the apartment and they will possibly search and evict the tennants.

That is considering your office will do anything about it. I lived in a complex that gave no shit about anything like that, they only cared about your rent payment.

    Good luck though.

I work at my shop late alot of nights, and Franklin County always stops, checks my ID. Ok didn't you guys check it already, last night?

Point of that is maybe move to a Franklin County Jurisdiction. Maybe call immigration?

  2. You're correct. When my dad had his house robbed the police said areas like his are hot spots and it's because people in neighborhoods like his have nicer shit than someone living in a place like the Hilltop!!

Yeah unfortunately, those of us that work for a living become victims of those that do not. I just quit leaving things in my car...i.e. seats, windows, speakers, sound deadening material. Takes a hell of alot of time to bolt the stuff back in to go to work in the morning.

  3. Ask them about there 9 second TT package :)

Yes I think I will ask about the TT package, just as soon as I punch Donald Trump in the face and steal his money.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Then again the car is paid for so I could borrow on it??? No that was the dumbest thing I have ever said....well close to it.

  4. OK so I bought a car that someone screwed up, I saw screwed up because well I have built and screwed up enough of my own to know what a mess looks like. I have cleaned up most of the errors, but am still having some issues. Car is a Fox GT, engine 306, ported polished E7 heads, ported polished lower intake matched to the heads. Powerdyne BD11A supercharger with 10lb pulley, MSD6AL with MSD Boost Timing Master, Ford Racing computer for mass air conversion, 24lb injectors. Car runs great and has great drivability, however at the top of third and fourth terrible detonation. I backed the timing off, and added the BTM and did not seem to help much. The car has no FMU. I know what I need to do, but am looking for maybe some help with an immediate fix. I know the car is not getting enough fuel, I am going to step it up to 42lb injectors(increasing boost over the next few months) This winter I am going to install Trick Flow heads, and an intake, along with a different cam. The winter project is the reason I am avoiding having it tuned. I would rather have it tuned when I am done than to spend the money twice. I do not believe the car has been tuned, however I have not verified that yet. Just looking for some advice.
  5. I recently sold an '05 to a friend of mine, he had similar issues. He never had a problem, but his wife always did. She could get it to start, drive it, shut it off and it wouldn't start back up. Funny thing, when someone would show up to jump it, it would start. The ignition switch in those damn things are sensitive. Sometimes on my '07 I hit the key wrong and it gets confused like a middleschool kid with a naked supermodel. Might have an issue with the switch, my buddies turned out to be a key problem. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
  6. OK what I am looking for is a cost effective setup. I have no problem with upgrading to 94-95 spindles. I know that means going 5 lug, but that looks like the way I will have to go. Sorry, like I said I know Baer is good, but 1300-1700 for front brakes? Seriously? I had not thought about the 94-95 option, anything else I would need to change aside from the brake parts. My car has Koni adjustables on it, and I know the spindles in the shock mount area are a different thickness than the 87-93. Thanks for your help Rob
  7. what are you looking to do with the car?

most of the aerospace kits are for drag race only, and im not totally sure if they offer a street kit like wilwood does.

I think they list that kit as a street kit, but I might be wrong. The purpose of the car is for autocross and street use, with the occasional trip to the drag strip. I like the wheels that are on the car, and would like to keep them for my street tires. I have a set of pony wheels for my racing tires, hence the reason I would like to keep it 4 lug. If I have to switch then I would more than likely go Baer. Just looking for an alternative.

  8. The car 86 Mustang GT supercharged 306. Need advice on brakes. Thought about doing the Baer kit, however they only offer 5 lug. Now Aerospace has a kit with 4 piston calipers, cross-drilled rotors for 4 lug. They offer the rear disc kit for 4 lug as well. Has anyone had any experience with these. My problem is the front rotors are only 10.25 inches, my stock rotors are 10 inch.

The rears are 11+inches. Yeah I know how great a set of Baer brakes looks and I know they work well.

    Any help or info guys...

  9. Ok guys I have a slow cruiser. Not the greatest bike in the world but still fun. All of my friends have street bikes, the rest are married and sold their bikes. Not one for crazy stuff, just looking for some people to ride with. I do not care what anyone rides, however if you have a street bike I don't think I will be keeping up. So if anyone is up for it, and doesn't mind a noob going along let me know.
  10. This is not surprising to me. Months ago I heard that Nelson was having some financial difficulties. The story I got was that he put too much in the Lamborghini franchise, and with the market turning the way it did hasn't recovered. Like I said guys that is the story I got from a friend who worked in that circle. As for the rumor of Mercedes, I did hear MAG is going to purchase a Mercedes dealership, one very close to them. Now for the disclaimer: For the 13+ years I have been in the auto sales industry I have learned it is no different than any other line of work in one regard. You hear stories, some true, some false, some half true. Take it for what it's worth.

If anyone has any info on the Mercedes or Nelson situation that contradicts what I said here, let me know.

  11. lightly mod it. catback/intake/tune to start. then longtubes and a mild cam if that's not enough for you. i drive my GTO every other day, and enjoy keeping it close to stock. i enjoy going out with my cobra to trounce on other cars on the street, but still have a car that is fast (GTO) that my wife will still ride in, and drive if i drink too much when we go out. once you get past a certain point with a car, it becomes unreliable, and not fun for carefree driving.

Ok I think this summed it up. Now I knew I was going to get it for even questioning whether or not to do so. Yes I know it has no collectible value, however once I start down the path I do not stop, and I hate to have 2 unbearable drivers. Do not get me wrong I know they can still be bearable with the right work, parts, tuning etc. Throwing a grand into the Mustang and getting more power out of it beats throwing a grand into the active handling system after a weekend of autox.

    Thanks for the advice Kirk.

  12. Hey guys I am just looking for some input. I have a '04 Vette, just an A4 coupe, and I am having a tough time deciding what to do with it. Yeah I know it is 5 years old, but only 30k on it. I came across a friend with a set of heads from a Z06, and thought about buying them. Just not sure if I want to deviate from stock. I have a Mustang if I feel the need to go beat on something. My thoughts are just exhaust, however knowing me I would never stop there. Just curious for your input. Oh and anybody have a stock exhaust for a C5 Z06, I would be interested.
