  1. Both parties are guilty of being obstructionist when the appropriate issues pop up, they both write checks they can't cash, and then have a convenient scapegoat. Why wouldn't they support the platforms that got them elected? Clearly the country is also divided into eerily partisan camps, and our current crop of politicians reflect this.
  2. Just depends on the situation for me. If I know I'll be leaving a busy, high traffic area (say a basketball game where everybody exits roughly together), I will back in to make my exit safer/easier. I don't typically back in, nor into angled spaces like Joe mentioned, but it has it's uses.

I do have a pet peev about folks in general that can't park straight, and backing in seems to compound that.

  3. What do you think the answer is? The answer is you are either too dense or stupid to follow along with the conversation. Since somebody implied my comment about being on welfare is "racist" or "bigoted", I simply am stating that every race abuses the system and has issues. Just because somebody is black doesn't mean they are scum, and just because somebody is white doesn't mean they are above all.

On a side note I also find it funny that calling somebody a "liberal pussy" somehow makes me more of racist. It is also amusing how, because some people instantly went to racial stereotypes, I must have too.

LMAO! Yes, everybody else is stupid, or dense. You work in the medical field after all, and "every race has it's issues."

Let me help you since you are either too stupid or dense to understand that it's not a "race" issue in any way, shape ,or form beyond being correlated. Someone black, or white, or whatever may abuse whatever system, none of which can possibly imply that that particular race, or races, has proclivities towards whatever un-desirable behaviors that are in play. In summation the behaviors undesired are the product of an as of yet unknown mixture of genetics, rearing, and various socio-economic factors.

Now maybe, that's what you meant, but the sentence you wrote was too monumentally stupid, dense, or just vacuously unaware of it's own hilarious un-readability. Seriously re-read what you wrote. It's a shit sentence. Hence my reply. Hey, maybe if you call people names that will make you right?

  4. Let me try to phrase this for his point to better suit you...

he is not saying give up your rights. he is also not saying if you are indeed not guilty of said crime to fight it.

He is saying that as a citizen if you knowingly did 100% commit the crime you have been accused of, pay your time/money and deal with it because a cops time fighting actual crime is better suited than him in court to prove now for the 2nd time you are in fact at fault and just want to see with by the book what you can get away with.

If your insurance costs may go up because you lose a "safe driver discount" or whatever, it's worth your time to fight it. Whether or not you believe 100% that you're guilty. I believe Geeto is pointing out the innocence or guilt of the party is irrelevant, due process is a right.

Of course you or Joe, or anyone can think whatever they want about someone exercising that right. There are plenty of people who feel such distaste for people who carry firearms.

  5. Yeah what dicks.....I really hate that they do their jobs enforcing laws trying to prevent auto accidents that could've been prevented. And what assholes for patrolling Ohio's roadways preventing the flow of narcotics into our communities. And how dare these worthless fucks help stranded motorist change a tire or providing a safe visible barrier to those same people. God forbid someone slows down or leaves for work 15 min earlier.

Speeding tickets have less to do with safety, and more to do with revenue generation. There are safer ways to operate highways that would promote flow of traffic, but would require mostly eliminating speed limits.

Narcotics? The police earn money by the literal truckoad, seize assets, and not to mention justify an entire special agency dedicated to the shell game, all under the guise of helping us fight the scourge of drugs. Drugs that would be far less harmful to the user, and not make violent psychopaths rich, were they simply available, and we could treat it as a healthcare issue, instead of a criminal one. But then how would we fill up the prisons, right?

Now helping stranded motorists, sure that's great, that's the kind of stuff they should be doing, but they don't set up "help the citizen" operations.

  6. On one hand I very much dislike the authoritarian police state we have allowed our supposedly "free" country to become.

On the other hand, this is an incredibly nominal amount, and the OP has basically admitted guilt.

Since you are forced to pay for car insurance, and this ticket could very well have an effect on your rates, I advise to fight it at least to the point where it won't be reported to insurance and potentially cost you much more. I would advise hiring an attorney.

  7. Vote 3rd party. Never has there been a more ripe time to make a splash. Don't like Hilary because she's a proven-corrupt, liar? Good, vote 3rd party. Don't like Trump because he's a boorish, loudmouth bully, devoid of any decent platform beyond "I was born with a lot of money and bought real estate". Good, keep a clear conscience, and don't vote for any evil. Rest assured scaring you into trying to keep "insert dipshit" out of office is all part of the shell game.

If everyone who was unhappy voted for a 3rd party, that party would win.

  8. The social media aspect has made it easier for parents to communicate and much easier for the chicken little of the group to rile others up that might not have said anything before. But those chicken littles have always existed.

It's not an easy thing to inspire kids. It's sometimes harder to make parents see it shouldn't be adversarial teachers/coaches vs parents. I've been there and do not envy people in that position.

You just triggered the shit out of me with your demeaning, contemptuous, disregard for the well-being of farm-animals whose only crime is being of a more diminutive stature. Perhaps some farm-culture sensitivity training is in order.

  9. I love Sigs and have not had an issue with my P938 post break-in. My FN FNX9 was perfect going back into battery, but the mags starting sticking. My Kimber Ultra was a piece of shit if not shooting ball ammo. I kept the polymers and the issues seem to be corrected.

I have never had an issue with a stock Glock. My Gen 2 G17 had countless rounds down the pipe before I sold it and it never failed, not once. My Gen 4 G17 has been perfect so far as well, though I've read about some folks having issues with the Gen 4s.

IMHO, a G17/19 should be every gun enthusiasts first handgun purchase.
