I asked evolutionm.net and they said hold it to the floor and the rev limiter kicks on at 5k. It want to try the 4k slip method first. I thaught a 2 step was only for nitrous. Bill-It had to happen. I am coming down saturday.

I was wondering if I should slip or dump it. Why do I always see people bounching off the rev-limiter?

I have a brand new NOS wet efi kit with full bottle. Everything is still packaged and brand new. I also have a NOS purge kit, msd window switch, NOS fuel pressure safety switch, and a ford racing tach adapter. None of this is used and should fit any efi vehicle. kit-$400 Everything-$600

Do I have to buy this stuff? I am use to just bringing my car to someone and having them dyno tune it. Or can I do the same with the evo? It was once my dream car and now I have it. I hate to loose my mustang and blazer but I know I will regret it more if I didnt do it.

Thanks everyone. I got the car yesterday and it is very nice. I just have to relearn everything about another car. Like how mods effect it, what do I need for this to do that, and how to launch the thing. AWD is alot different to drive. I will becoming down to QS&L saturday night. The car has a forge BOV, forge, manual boost controller, buschurracing battery, its like the size of a motorcycle battery, and I think a buschurracing 3inch turbo back exhaust. The exhaust has no name on it but a guy at work said it looks to be a buschurracing. vee21-I will definitally need some help learning about the car. Are you going to QS&L saturday. Is buschurracing good?

Thanks, I am glad you see and know that I am not that type of person. I have done my fair share of hard work, espically working for my dad and his own stucco busines and having had to meet my parents expectations from school and atv racing. I am just fortunate enough to be able to have the mustang at this age becuase of my parents. I love mustangs like you, but something about an evo has always caught my attention. Now that I can get one, I feel that I should.

I have a blazer 4x4 now but thats going in on the trade in also. And wow, 14.7%.

Thanks to the people supporting this. For everyone else, yeah the mustang was a graduation present, that doesnt mean I am some spoiled brat. the people who know me know this. I am the one paying, not my parents. I believe evo's are hard to find now, so why not jump on a nice one with a good price if I can. I am not gonna just turn the boost up, I know better than that. Like I originally asked, I would like people on here to inform me on these cars so I can become more knowledgeable on them.

Glad to here forge is good. I am paying the payments, $278 a month so its not like my parents are buying it for me. Yes they did buy the mustang for a graduation present but the evo is on me.

I am trading the mustang in on a 05' Evo with 34k on it on saturday. Its hard for me to get rid of it but I love evo's and they are getting hard to find. Its silver with all options, and as far as I can tell whats done is exhaust, bov with the name forge on it, possibly a manual boost controller that also says forge. Then there is this yellow box thing under the hood that says something racing. I have no clue what it is. i plan to do a turbo timer, boost controller, turbo manifold and have slowmotion tune it. Im not real informative on these cars so any advice helps. Anythony or Bryan, Can you guys bring me another white CR sticker for Norwalk. Thanks.
