I picked up this car like 4 weeks ago. Hadn't shown signs of a clutch issue until 2 nights ago. After driving around for a bit, I come to a light, I push the clutch to the floor and it doesnt dissengage. I PULL the car out of gear to stop. Now I press the clutch and it releases just enough to get back into gear and find a spot to park. I check the resevoir and its dry, but there are no sings of a leak, atleast not brake fluid (oil is another story ) . I fill it up and it will work, but loses pressure if I hold it down for too long. Meaning, if I want to change a gear its good, but I i hold it in for like 5 seconds the clutch will start to engage on its own. Anyone know what might be happening, like I said it would be easier if I could find the leak but I havent found anything. Sound like a bad slave cylinder? p.s. anyone want a 92 eclipse?

If anyone wants to go this Fri night. Get to a Scion dealer and ask for free lift passes if you "test drive" a car. I just told them I wanted the tickets then left w/o having to drive one of them. They give you 2 passes, thats $60 off. edit: its for this Fri night only (2/15) , the midnight madness 9pm-3am.

I have Allstate. Got hit by an uninsured motorist last year and they covered everything, no problem. My rates never went up. A few months before that I got a reckless op. and my rates still didn't change. I pay about 160/month for full coverage but I'm still fairly young, I think we get a big drop in prices at age 25? I recently bought a second car, liability only, and added renters insurance, after charges and discounts I pay 160/month to cover all 3. I think thats pretty good... I do deal with an agent though, not just the 1-800 Allstate office or whatever.

Did you guys have any trick things to keep engine temps down? I know they didnt run a turbo, but I know headgasket failures where a problem for you guys. All my questions are pretty much engine design and modification related, if you had no part in that nevermind.

I'm looking for a good set of front calipers (maybe even rotor and pads) off a 93-99 awd DSM. I have the single pistons and am looking for the duals. I picked up a used 92 and the front brakes are trash. Can anyone help me?
