  1. should fit a mustang if you have a 5X114.3 or 5X100lug pattern.
  2. They are a 5X114.3 or 5 X100 bolt pattern with a 40mm off set. Near perfect condition ( some small rub marks on the clear coat from being piled on top each other, but nothing you will notice when they are on a car and not 5 inches from your face.) I have had them sitting in my apartment for too long and they aren't doing any good there. The girlfriend lost interest in putting them on her car and never bought tires.   3. I have a 92 eclipse GS w/ a 5 speed. I'd be willing to sell the whole car if you want it. It's throwing a CEL and I dont't wanna deal with it. Hard to start sometimes... 120k on it, 1,000 bucks.
  4. I only need like a 6 inch long piece at most to repair part of my exhaust. Anyone have some? I don't need stainless, but I prefer it to not be coverd in rust.

  6. Ask "ogeretla". He can get that kind of stuff I believe. He might get you a good deal if you can get him some good Japanese parts for his 350z... not sure if the version in Japan is better or not.... either way, hes a cool dude.

  8. DSM'ers, have any of you made the tool described in the haynes manuel to check fuel pressure? I'm hoping I can just borrow it from someone local rather than spend the time drilling holes in a bolt...
  9. Ya looks like its 6 hours long with a half hour break in there. So figure driving for over 5 hours around a track. Should be fun, and way more track time then I would prob even use. Again, we are aiming for Oct. 3rd
  10. A good synthetic oil, mobil 1 will do. Change every 3k. Letting the car idle for a good 30 seconds prior to shutdown gives the turbo time to cool and be well lubricated, this will reduce wear on the bearing. This is what a tubo timer does. A couple aftermarket gauges could help you keep an eye on things, maybe an egt gauge (exhaust gas temp), a oil pressure gauge, and a boost gauge.
  11. He prob raised the boost about 10psi along with the race gas. Race gas just does a great job of preventing knock, so timing and boost can go up a ton and still be safe. Love the teg, I have the same rod/piston combo going into my Spec.
  12. I went to an event held by these guys one time in the Akron area. They got mad at me because I have an open dump and it was too loud for them. All while they let a lotus race car with a buick V8 and open headers run with no problems because he could run a time 2 times as quick as anyone else. I was pretty pissed hearing this from a "racing" organization.
  13. It will take longer to get make the cool water warmer. Not sure exactly why, but think about it, heat rises and leaves the cup. The cooler water will be somewhat insulated and liquid, esp water holds its temp well. Thats my guess, I think I'm right just not sure how to explain it... Edit: OK, I fail at being smart enough to know why, but I did know the hot cup would cool faster

How much would it cost to make one yourself? And do you guys think it's worth it, if you could afford too, to buy something built or make one yourself? In short, do you buy a well modified car thats been taken care of or a stock car to mod yourself at, lets face it, a higher cost?
