  1. I got 3 of these last year from a guy on craigslist. I fixed up the other 2 for my son and his friend down the street. This one is the roughest but with $150-200 in parts can be rebuilt pretty nice for someone. Might make a nice Christmas gift to some kid if you get it soon and get it fixed up, my 8yo loves it. New these go for almost $400. I'd like to see it go to someone who has a kid in mind they want to fix it up for. At the very least it will need batteries ($60), a charger ($30), and I think a throttle ($20). I was keeping it for parts, but now I just want the shed space. I don't have a pic handy, its rough, but it's free. internet photo: http://ep.yimg.com/ay/scootercatalog/razor-mx500-electric-dirt-rocket-500-watt-35.jpg
  2. Also, like Liberace himself the owner was FABULOUS. So, I guess car guys are in every crowd.
  3. Winner Winner. One of 2 known to exist. This one was owned by Liberace himself, the current owner bought it back in 2006 because in his own words, "he had some money to blow and thought it would make a good investment". I guess since then it had been going through an intense restoration, including a completely new interior and he just got the car back last week after 9 years in a shop. Not my style either, but the history was cool and well documented.
  4. nope! Need another hint? It's Ford powered.
  5. Nothing Porsche in or on it.
  6. I was in key west for my honeymoon this past week and the owner of our hotel had this interesting car parked out front. Anyone know it? http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc154/keit29/image16_zpsh2zzybwg.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc154/keit29/image25_zpsn9wtm24b.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc154/keit29/image33_zpsdhladwvq.jpg
  7. I'm on a SD tune and the car runs good enough. I had idle surge issues and some weird graph on the dyno with my maf still in the intake (disconnected) and the stock accordion pipe. I replaced both with a simple 4" hose and it runs much better. I do agree with maf tuning being better, but this works for me and the car makes great power (440) for an NA ls1 while being safe up top. It's also a fair weather only car so it doesn't run in extreme cold.
  8. Right. It's like you are saying he hand selected an uglier daughter than Urban made by not making that load a titty shot.

  10. Not Saban's daughter. http://bustedcoverage.com/2015/09/24/nick-saban-daughter-kristen-saban-photos/
  11. Exactly why I went with the roku smart TV. It gets updated and I dont have to plug in an extra box, and just one remote which is nice.
  12. 200 is tight for anything worth while that's brushless and lipo powered. Buy Jasons Rustler, thats a good deal.
  13. I had an xo-1, wasn't impressed. OP if you set a budget in mind, post it up and maybe we can help you put together the best bang for the buck RC. I've had just about every rc car there is.
  14. I recently got a 50 inch Roku smart TV and I love it. They make a 55 inch one also, but the 50 is $440 and the 55 is $600.
  15. Buy this, play with it, fix what you break on it and sell it for 200 in a year when you stop using it. Cant lose.
  16. Yep, not always a full proof plan to buy used. 1-2 years old cars can still cost more than brand new. I dont think the benefit comes into play until the cars are 4-5 years old, on average. Most 5 year old "daily" type cars are abused and need tires, brakes , ect. So then you have to shop for the right one.
  17. What about a full size van Rhett, does it have to be a pickup? Some vans can tow decent. Is this going to be a dedicated work vehicle, or also a daily?
  18. And can be 100% eliminated by moving a hose for free. :dumb:
  19. 2nd gen xterra! they are solid trucks and don't have the small pickup tax on them. Also, the 2nd gen (05+) has the 4 liter v6 that makes plenty of power. I see decent deals on the forums often. 7500 in WV http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=171537
  20. And hes getting full asking for his old 240.
  21. Bump! 200! please don't make me put these on Craigslist...
  22. Id do it. And spend a little on de ricering/fixing the evo and make a clean nice daily out of it that your wife won't hate. That is if the car checks out, no accidents, engine build seems legit, ect. You are trading one mans project for another, better know what you are getting into.
