Brand^^^^. My gun won't run most brand out there...
Blazer Brass 115gr
-
I agree. I have a TRP. Great quality for the $
-
I would also like to have a 9mm 1911. I want a compact though. STI is on my wish list. So what model/brand you looking at ?
-
Being married I have never had these problems some here talk about.
-
That's a nice porch Randy.
-
yep they put two speed trans in some of these old ones.

60's power steering units are floaty. There should be an underdrive pully to take some of that out but I would consider a steering box upgrade as well as ditching your rag joint for a U-joint.
As long as you have the wheels might as well put big disc on there as well. They measure stopping distance of those old land yachts in miles not feet. Though to be fair it looks like you have the best drums from that era - the big finned buick aluminum drums.
401's are thirsty mothers too...but nothing that a BOP bolt patterned built 200R4 couldn't handle.
Yes it has the big fin drums, it stops better then I expected. The previous owner rebuilt the brakes. Maybe down the road I will do disc. I actually like the look of the big old drums showing. Steering is not that bad. I'm aware of the upgrades. Maybe down the road. I noticed a few new front end parts also. Now an overdrive tranny would be very nice. Im just glad its a 3 speed auto and not a 2 speed.

What yacht club are you a member at?
Unique. I love it.
It floats down the road pretty good.
-
Im keeping the drivetrain as is. The 401 is great old engine. As far as seeing another one on the road or even at show would be rare.

Yes she is a big one, just barely fits in the garage.

I hate that commercial. Anyway this is old news for some here but I have been searching for an old wagon for a while and finally bought one. I was thinking about buying an old pick up and do the rat rod thing, but after thinking about all the work involved and what I would end up with I decided to go this route. Its a 63 Buick Lesabre Estate 9 pass Wagon. I wanted something different. It has a 401 Nailhead,st400,trans,3:23 posi rear. It does have power steering with power drum brakes, and a power rear window. As far as plans right now, my goal is to make it a reliable driver and do some rust repair but no repaint.

Looking good there Clay. Really like the color. Waiting for that delivery guy to show up seems like forever I know. I going to try to make CC&C with my wagon also. See ya there.

Should have been a great day for a car show. Perfect weather.
-
That's early but Im in.
-
The only issue I have with using mulching blades with an open deck is the quality of your cut. Most mulching blades will not create much lift to suck up the grass blade for a good cut. I use only high lift blades during the spring/summer, but they will work.
-
Probably the largest turn out I have seen.Nice to see some old faces today.
-
Won't make it for the cruise but will still make it out.
-
Maybe , but probably not. Been outside all day.
-
Probably seem like a different car with those cut springs changed over to the new ones.
-
Just stepped outside,to cold still for this.

Nice Evo. I also live in the sticks and have to deal with a gravel driveway.
