  1. I waited almost a minute for something to happen and had to close the window before I clawed my eyes out! I HATE SNOW!
  2. Are people still going to Kilkare tomorrow?
  3. I'd roll you Shanton but the last two times you killed me... I am tired of my ego getting hurt...
  4. I play this a bit as well... My gamertag is Uztaryn.
  5. So those of us planning on going out... where do we want to meet?
  6. Alright Shawn... here is how we can do that... give me all but 1 car legnth of a 1/4 mile and the go and I will do that for $1k... lock it in now!
  7. It is going to be dry and mid to high 50's tonight.
  8. Here is the thing with 1st gen cars. 1st off is it an X car? X11's and X22's are worth more than other vins. 2nd is going to be is it a "tuner" car or a restoration. Obviously this is a tuner car so now it changes the value. I have seen some really nice tuner cars and most of the really well done LSX 1st gens (im talking mirrors under the car and you can eat off the bottom of the car) have been going for 30-45k complete. I don't know where you are in your car yet; however, that is what I want to build at some point (or buy complete). I have the opportunity to buy a completely restored and all factory origional 67 RS car with low miles for $23,500 locally. I haven't done it because I want to put an LSX in the car and cannot see doing that to the origional numbers matching car. I had a friend sell a 69 X car recently for only 10k! I wish he had called me cause I would have bought it, but this was a solid car no rust good paint and with a 454 built just needing motor assembly and installation. It really sucks, but unless the car is complete and flawless you are going to be pushing it to get over $25k and incomplete you won't see more than maybe $15k if you find that perfect buyer. This is all pending that it is a desirable vin. Good luck on your project, I envy you being able to spend that kind of money and time on such a wonderful car and a great piece of American Heritage. 1st Gen Tuner cars are AWESOME completed. I have considered and wanted one for some time now. I have toyed with the idea of ordering a Foose Resto Tuner car for about a year now. Good luck and Post some pics!
  9. What about that guy with the superbee on the west side, or Bill Meridith there are a bunch of guys that have raced for years on the west side. I would also put in a vote for Sonny. He had a 9 second F-body years ago and has always had some really fast bikes.
  10. I couldn't believe it when you told me. Well, you need to get AJ to pop a new clutch in and a cam while it is apart.
  11. Jason will be there in the Yellow C6Z06. It has the same mods mine had before the current build started. So unless you really wanted to see orange it should be the same as mine "was"
  12. Sorry you won't get to loose to me, but my car isn't going to get finished in time. Looks like it won't be out till the following weekend. But you can take a look at my hazards then if you want.
  13. That is one fast bird.. I can't wait to see it run at Norwalk. You gonna make a full Nitrous pass?
  14. Well I can't say that my vette has anything for you just yet. I don't even know exactly what your car runs. I just wanted to know if you were sure about the statement. What is your best ET anyway? I am hoping to be at Norwalk as long as everything works out right.
  15. How sure are you about that statement?
  16. You know what this event needs? ..... Me. I will send an email.
  17. I'm gonna be out tonight... I will be looking for some fun too.
  18. I thought the ending was BS. Maybe set up for a Movie?
  19. Contesting does nothing... You are guilty of the offense so you will have to pay. I won't run a front tag but like Jason's (LPFSThe Fett) idea.
  20. Well my best pass was a sloppy 1.9 60' 11.82 at 119. I know that they stock Z06 is supposed to have like 125mph in the 1/4 and should run a bit faster in the 11's. I had lots of traction issues. I tried no water box and water box burn outs. I had one run that I litterly blew the tires off all of 1st and all of 2nd... then just shifted out and drove off. I think I get better traction on the street; however, I did get my car into the 11's so I am happy about that and I did have a good time! Thanks for organizing the event and the pizza!
  21. Can't wait to do some racing with you guys again this year. I went a few years ago in my 99 Vert triple black TA. This Year I am bringing my 07 Z06. I will be looking for some DR's so I can maybe get this puppy into the 11's.
